I don't see his influence in boxing..
I don't see anybody firing punches on one foot and falling in off balance trying to fight like Pacman..
awwww you mad:rofl:
I thought it was weird that a NASCAR driver was #1 and that Manny had never made this list before. Then I actually read the article and saw it was from a survey of 1100 people and it made much more sense. 3 NASCAR drivers last year and 2 this year. I'd be willing to guess this extensive research to discover the most "influential athletes in america" was conducted in a tri-county area of North Carolina.
You do know that when they do this polls they consider various factors other than the vote of 1100 people? Internet search, marketability, media coverage, etc? If they determine that 1100 were sufficient as sample it is because of guidelines and they can justify it. Also they consider trends. It is not as simple as you put it there.
Your words come from a fragile and insecure place..
I don't see his influence in boxing...it's not there..
I do see Floyd's influence...
Bro, I've been following Floyd for awhile now and I see his influence also. BUT I never mentioned him. So who is insecure again?
Manny was voted Fighter of the Decade. Where were you?
Who voted to make him fighter of the decade??
Ask the guys in the ring who the fighter of the decade is...I can assure you it wouldn't be Ms Pacman..
ring magazine did vote pacquiao as fighter of the decade....
Nascar is Americas most popular sport
Nope, not even close to being true. It's definitely not the least popular but there's plenty of sports ahead of it in the US.

Bro, you probably don't see his influence due to your own insecurities or jealousy for some reason. Or you might be just a b!tch or hater.
Doesn't matter if Manny is not the most skilled boxer ever (b/c he is not), its his fighting spirit that people like/love. Even if he loses in his last fights, he will only lose his "fad" fans. His resume is very respectable and will be remembered.
Oh wow, that kinda defeats the purpose. 1,100 people represent the entire USA. Woo
Numbers man.... just like in commercials when they do that whole thing saying 9 out of 10 dentists approve of this... just depends on who you ask.

That's some Ether level stuff..

Manny is American?
Nah, he's not.
Since he fights here all the time, they're counting him I guess. I know this is only counting sports figures in america because if it wasn't... no NFL player would be on here.
