I honestly think this PPV will do pretty will only due to that fact that you have of course Floyd haters and fans buying this fight, Cotto Fans buying, and the undercard with El Cinnibon bon Alvarez which will bring in a huge amount of Mexican fans especially being that it is on Cinco Di Mayo..
So Floyd cant really get all the credit for the PPV outcome..
No matter who fights, it dosen't change the fact that they are still charging $60 for the per view, most hard core boxing fans won't pay that.
I expect the same amount of pay per view number that every Mayweather fight does. Only one fights is worth $60 and thats Mayweather/Pacquiao. When that happens, it will be the only time you can expect a bump on pay per view numbers.
that isn't a lot bro....

People paid $60 to see Marquez/Rios whyt not $60 to see Mayweather Cotto Mosley Alavarez plus Cotto is the 3rd biggest ppv draw out there right now this will be Mayweathers highest selling ppv after his DLH fight.
PPV thoughts...
Good card, i think canelo/mosley will be fight of the night. i think mosley gives a great effort and him and canelo just go all out war with canelo either stopping shane late or taking it by UD.
i think pbf/cotto is a good fight and credit is due to BOTH fighters for making it happen. i think cotto could be to floyd what jmm is to pac... im not sold on cotto being past his prime for losing to a cheater (margs) and a top 3 p4p fighter (pac, arguably the best depending on who you ask of course). i AM sold on cotto being a smart fighter with plenty of heart and skill to boot.
i think tony weeks is a good choice, clear and quick in his actions and i cant remember him ever being a homer for anyone (?).
should be a great night!

Be real...you wouldn't order the fight unless floyd vs cotto wasnt taking place. All that other stuff is extra & build up leading to the fight...
Red head vs mosley wouldnt sell anything, nor would it be ppv...so all credit is to floyd!

Cotto can attract 500,000 on his own. Mayweather can get 1 million PPV's fighting his next door neighbor. So, I expect at least 1.5 million and believe it could go as high as 1.7 million. Pac/Bradley won't even break the 1 million mark, even though Arum will claim 1.3 million buys and everyone in the media and all the Pac worshippers will accept it as gospel.
My estimate is 1.4-1.6 million sold in PPV sales. Mayweather-Mosley did 1.4 and Pacquiao-Cotto did 1.25 I believe so it will do extremely well.
