FLoyd like any other fighter started off undefeated. He worked hard & fought the best and beat the best this sport has to offer. No floyd didn't fight every single body there was to fight, just like any other fighter. Some fighters lose at the beginning of their careers, some lose towards the end, some retire undefeated....FLoyd is special and I wish nothing but the best for him & hopes he remains undefeated because of his hard work ethic...he doesnt take short cuts in the gym, he trains hard, he gets tested and he wins...all u can do is tip your hat to him..
Hopkins didn't start out undefeated.
Marquez didn't start out undefeated.
*On point, as a Floyd fan I would like to see him carry the 0 all the way, but as a boxing fan I would like to see the gameplan that gives Floyd his 1st loss.
What you guys think?
He is really not unbeaten .. Castillo beat him and everyone knows that excluding you....
That is why I have no respect for Mayweather a real man accepts when he is defeated and Castillo gave him a beating the first fight.
Just to read that Mayweather is undefeated gives makes me feel ashamed of boxing and boxing fans that do not understand or can not see the truth in front of them.
No, because that would mean Cotto lost.
But i wouldnt mind seeing him retire undefeated. I dont pray on his downfall, I'm actually a big fan of his fightingstyle.
But it would be bittersweet seeing him retire undefeated if one of his future opponents are not either Pac or Martinez. I can't expect him to fight Martinez, but i sure as hell can expect him to fight Pac.
yes cause if he beats cotto, canelo, manny and or martinez and retires undefeated than we have witnessed true greatness
^^ I don't care if he wins or loses, I wanna see those fights and maybe a fight with Khan
No, I think it'd be an amazing moment to witness him actually lose, it'd be big news and a shock.
I don't like him and hate how he does pick his fights at times, and openly talks really of protecting his 0, contradicts himself, dirty's other fighters good names.
It'd bring him down a peg or two and make him fight interestingly not only in that fight he'd be losing, but especially in fights following. It'd make it really interesting.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say the Mayweather fans will say yes and the guys who dislike Mayweather will say no and the one's who don't care, won't care.

I don't see the point of this poll especially at this late point of FM's career. If fans say Yes, what exactly will that mean? Do you actually expect Floyd to stay around for two to three more years?
Even without Floyd, this is the current state of the sport right now. It just sucks. You'll be lucky to see fighters fight an average of three fights a year. There are a lot of interesting matches out there that will never be made. I can't even believe Lara's fight with PWill, for example, was almost a year old. You'lll begin to wonder why these skilled boxers are not fighting as often as fans want them to.
Why would the TS ask such a silly question? Thats like asking do you not want Floyd to have any dangerous fights and cherry pick for the remainder of his career.
Of course most people want him to lose, that would at least prove he fought who he was supposed to and took risks.
I'm somewhat indifferent. If he takes good fights and wins I wont be upset. He's so skilled it's hard to be mad when he wins. It would be nice to see him retire undefeated for the simple fact that years down the road he's going to be broke and poor and his record will be all he has.
I do. I think that Sergio Martinez stands a chance to defeat Floyd than Pacquiao does. Sergio doesn't make as many mistakes as Pacquiao does. Floyd can very well retire unbeaten and that's even if he faces Pacquiao. I don't think that fight will ever happen now that Floyd's moved up and Pacquiao refuses to go any higher for the risk of losing speed. Mayweather does retire unbeaten and he has faced the best of them when they were winning.
Why would you not want to see him fight Pac?
If he retires undefeated he will be in the class of Rocky Marciano and Joe Calzaghe. That's not bad at all. :D
Floyd's already greater than those two, that's just a poor comment man, really f**king poor.
And if he stayed unbeaten and beat Pac or Sergio, he'd have to take a giant leap forward in his legacy no doubt.
We'll see what happens. He says he's fighting 5 more times, who knows.
