Dont see a thread and dont wanna make an big OP, but
Rowland just TKO'd Andrade in an nice upset by hurting and landing BOMBS on him forcing the ref to stop it
jesus man, that was my point. I stated that he's looked great as of late. I stated he's gotten better. Dude was implying he's always looked this great and I disagreed and used that fight as an example. He didn't look as impressive as he has of late.
i was following, but i was talking about the sydorkeno fights in general. those fights more than anything told he me was the real deal
Well said. People need to open their eyes and see what Donaire is doing, seriously. Like I said, milking the P4P status.
Doesn't P4P mean you're the best and SHOULD be fighting the best opposition out there? :dunno:
Be patient in 2014 Donaire will fight a legit opponent.
think you're misreading what I typed. Nowhere in my post did I say he lost. My point was he didn't look too impressive or looked like a special fighter.
those fights made me notice...so i dunno what exactly u were looking for but mebbe it was something different. sure hes not as flashy as a donaire, but his boxing skills are clearly among the best in the world and he has continuously gotten better.
I don't understand why people keeping hoping to see against Nonito Donaire.
I mean he may fight one or two every so many years, but I doubt we will see him against Moreno, Mares, Rigo etc.
It will be just like Mayweather circa 2007-2009 in which you saw the other elite fighters face each other while Donaire just go for bullsh1t money fights while a delussional fan base claims he is the best and would beat those guys anyway if they fought.

Rigo is to green for any of these guy's right now imo..He should get a few more fights under his belt first...
Don't let the number of bouts fool you bro. You're making the same mistake Ramos and Kennedy did, calling him an amateur/green (in your case). :lol1:
dominated? Beautifully? Bro, why you acting like I haven't watched the fights? You're telling me you watched those fights at the time in 2008, and said, "wow this moreno guy is awesome!" Hell no! He didn't look very impressive at all. There was nothing on those fights that said this guy is a special fighter.
So again, that's why I say "as of late". He's dominated his last two opponents and looked great. Much better then in the past.
i disagree...i think he clearly won both fights. i dont hear many ppl say otherwise.

I agree with Moreno(that guy is amazing)even tho I want to see how Moreno handles and more skill fighter..Rigo is to green for any of these guy's right now imo..He should get a few more fights under his belt first...
Rigo's too green? with like 400 amateur bouts a title and in his 30's?
what
Cmon dont make this into Donaire hate thing
His opponents have not been bums. Mares opponents are no better, and almost all aging former glory fighters
I'd take old aging Vic, Morel and Agbeko over damn Narvaez, a freaking midget super flyweight who is aging as well since you wanna go there. I would also take them over WV2 who got taken out by an AGING Arce.
Moreno take justs about anyone 122 and under, possibly donaire too, 50/50
That is a tossup fight... I lean slightly toward Moreno, but that is a fight where my opinion could change depending on what I see in their past fights.
We might never see that fight because Top Rank does not make fights with outside promoters unless their fighter is the heavy favorite.
As of late? He has looked good throughout his career with the exception of the Cemeno fights.
The Cermeno fights were ugly like Pea-Poli Diaz, with a little more competition because Cermeno isn't a THAT bad (Olympic foundation and all).
Your crazy,I'm not even sure Mares beats Arce...I would love to see that tbh..

Please tell me you are just joking around with both of these comments?
Come on bro and what do you call Donaire's opposition lately? And it's not like he's been winning in great fashion either. It's like these guys get P4P status and just start milking it by fighting bums.

Damn,Arce is just being *******ed on..Arce is not that skilled, but he is a warrior...Gotta love that much about him...
Arce is a fun fighter with a ceiling. He gets carefully matched for a reason and gets to win belts with pick a foes like Angkota because he sells more than anyone down low. He got outboxed by Vic Darchinyan and couldn't win a round against Mijares. WV2 was exception. Not rule.
Mares would beat him up. Moreno would toy with him. Arce-Donaire is just brutal physically; Mayweather-Gatti-esque.
No it hasnt. Its been at par at times

No, Arce should get a couple big paydays and leave boxing...
I don't want to see him get obliterated or used a stepping stone ....again
No, I don't want to see it. Donaire might fight Arce in September, pathetic. And, for Mares to go from Morel to Arce :puke:
Damn,Arce is just being *******ed on..Arce is not that skilled, but he is a warrior...Gotta love that much about him...
Morel lost the fight, but his toughness impressed me tonight. He has a decent shot at an alphabet title at 118.
Mares is a good fighter; win or lose, he's a fighter I want to continue to watch and would anticipate a fight of him against any fighter (except Rigondeaux and Moreno).
Moreno is a dangerous fight for any fighter under 122.
De La Mora...
