i think Lara could give anyone trouble at his weight. I see him as undefeated right now
So do a lot of people
I feel bad for Tommy, must be horrible to watch your son get knocked out.
Yea, I felt kind of bad because he was out
I have to say it's never easy to try and live up to your father's reputation and status...but Ronald Hearns...damn.
I feel sorry for him. His father was Thomas Hearns and he doesn't have a chin.

Thanks a lot Hougigo! I didn't get to see this fight or the FNFs episode, but damn Lara just made a fan outta me. Too bad aint nobody gonna wanna fight him now, boxers today are b1tchez...
Lara likes to fight at a slow, steady pace. Prefers to get set before throwing.
He's not that fast and reaches on occasion, pushes with his punches often.
and we've all seen him look pretty vulnerable in the later rounds.
His his defense isn't anything to brag about nor are his legs or his ability to use them, he rather block punches than slip the.
Agreed on all counts. Lara is one of the most overrated fighters on here, he's good but people talk about him like he's an unstoppable beast.
The straight left that caused the first knockdown, was beautiful! Hearns was out before he hit the canvas. You can almost see his eyes cement shut after taking those two lefts before the bout was stopped. Good showing for Lara.
Is it too late for Golden Boy to put Lara on the undercard for Berto Ortiz? Just put him up against any bum. He just needs whatever exposure he can get.
That was the original plan till Berto got injured. Then it all went to hell for Lara and Russell Jr. -_-

If they offered it to him, I hope he takes it.

Sergio actually does better as the fight progresses. he moves a lot and hits while doing so, so getting set isn't an option. He's proven that shelling up and just blocking his shots isn't going to help much either and hes a counter puncher, a very fast one at that.
I just think Lara is tailor made for Sergio and if this fight were to happen and Sergio won soundly, he'd probably get a lot, IMO, undeserved praise for making it look easy. I just think it's an easy fight stylistically and people will overlook that.
He should take it then while the praise is still available
For your viewing pleasure
