Gary Shaw: "Hopkins lied about his shoulder injury"

No disrespect to Bhop but i agree with Shaw, Bhop has every reason to fake the injury, Gets to keep his belt, gets to prepare again for dawson, get to get paid for 3 rounds without breaking sweat and then getting paid again for the rematch, For me he has nothing to lose anyways because of his age people dont expect him to win.

I see alot of people saying that but why would he do that when he was in the fight and Chad was literally doing nothing in the fight. Trying to get a DQ which would be an easy win allowing him to keep his belt Also he is a habitual faker. Look at the Calzaghe and RJJ II fights

No excuses this time, I feel it will be this fight that see's Bernard handily beaten for the first time. His other L's (minus the first fight against RJJ) have been very debatable, as in every single one could have gone his way and a few certainly should have. Time for Chad to get back to the guy he used to be, start to use his full talent again and take the division.

Shaw can say what ever he wants for himself to feel better about Dawsons takedown in a boxing match. Bernard has more heart than most when it comes to boxing, while Dawson showed complete disrespect towards fans and the sport. It was obvious Bernard was feeling him out, which he always has and Dawson decided to try to in the fight before Bernard could get a rhythm. This will be a close fight in the beginning with Bernard winning the later rounds.

who cares if he faked it or not...the rematch is happening that's all that matters. if bhop faked his injury as his way out of the fight, he should'nt have agreed to the rematch. gary shaw should sit his fat ass and shut up.

He sure did fake that injury. How you gonna get a doctor's note saying it is injured but provide no X-ray or MRI.
