The petition won't do anything, but if it keeps the issue in the spotlight that is something. If it sparks a bigger news story that is something. I think there is some possibility for fans to speak up -- the main problem is a collective voice, which is easier with technology, but still difficult.
Yup, am sold. I was not buying this, but I think am seeing the actual potential this could bring.
Not disagreeing but doesn't the lack of money in the sport lead to even more corrupt decisions as every hometown promoter tries to keep his fighter undefeated and in the hunt for titles?
That's interesting. I think you make a good point. I didn't see it at that perspective.
Maybe if we did both, petition and not support padded record setting fights. We may have a chance to make a difference....
Interrupting their cash flow is the only way your going to get any ones attention. You can petition till your face turns blue and as long as you keep buying their PPV's, they will be laughing at you all the way to the bank.
If you really care and want to make a difference. STOP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY AND STOP PAYING FOR THESE FIGHTS!!!:damnit:

How is this ever going to work if so many so-called boxing fans were prepared to co-sign biased hometown decisions such as Khan-Peterson?
That said, it's better to do something than nothing so I would encourage others to sign.
That'$ what I've been $aying to the$e guy$.

I have a decent network with another forum and they are going to go Twitte rnuts, so please follow mine. We are going to try and keep this up and make some waves. Takes a sec to sign and post or RT
There is already a petition to help fix bad judging and corruption:
http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=542359
It has a decent amount of signatures already but needs way more.
Not trying to be a buzz kill but thats not going to change anything... Even with a million signatures, nothing will change.
Its at least worth a try, it only takes a minute to sign and doesn't hurt. A writer for Yahoo already made an article about the petition I linked to above so its starting to get recognition.

Just trying to be heard mate. We deserve to be heard.
Spread theword boys and gals. This is for fans all over the word. If you are on twitter please post and RT. We need everyone publicising this. It's for all of us.
This is for all fans who are sick of the torrent of bad decisions and bias we keep seeing in our sport.
