Which win was more impressive Mayweather vs Marquez or Hopkins vs De La Hoya?

Hopkins stopped DLH, but DLH was competitive in the early rounds. JMM never got into the fight and Mayweather was just toying with him. Mayweather did come in over the limit, but two pounds wouldn't have changed anything IMO. He just had too much for JMM to deal with, which is saying something considering how good JMM is.

BHop went in and finished the job. Oscar (though IMO lost to Sturm) did have a fight prior at Middleweight. BHop also weighed in at the catchweight Oscar wanted (158) and didn't come 2lbs over. In relation though, JMM didn't look dominating over Diaz either, though he got the stoppage in the end. This is a fair post. Hopkins didn't look great but he did what he had to do. The bold is true as well.

again the weight had a LOT to do with JMM's performance how else to you think guys like JLC and zab judah did a lot better vs Floyd compared to jmm? He looked good fighting Pacquiao at essentially the same weight. I will give you this though, that body shot that put DLH down did look suspect.

You haven't watched Hopkins-De La Hoya. HUGH GRANT is a clown. No one takes that guy seriously, and 95% of his posts bash Floyd, even if the topichas nothing to do with him.

One has to give Floyd credit for absolutely dominating Marquez at a weight he arguably just beat Pacquiao at. Only Floyd haters don't.

hopkins vs hoya looked fixed IMO and JMM vs mayweather isn't at all impressive considering marquez had to go up in 2 weight classes and money didn't even make the catch weight A fighter the caliber of JMM only being able to land 69 punches in twelve rounds is impressive imo.
