I think if Broner piggy backs off Floyd some (same promoter/adviser in Al Haymon), he could be a big star even quicker than he should.
If he moved to the Mayweather camp, had Floyd jump in ring after his fights to celebrate with him (he was at Rodriguez fight) he could become more well known quicker.
Sort of like Khan with Pacquiao, Pacquiao and Roach made Khan bigger and known more world wide.
Broner wouldn't act the same if he was in the presences of Mayweather. Two alpha-males don't work well together, and usually the younger one secedes to the older, wiser one.
It'd be like Mayweather and his little annoying brother.
That would be cool, but it really conflicts with Floyd already having Gamboa under his wing, who could potentially have a huge fight with Broner.
Gamboa and Broner, if they keep winning and looking good, are destined to meet up in the ring and produce a huge event.
That is a dilemma but Gamboa is like 8 years older than Broner. You let both of them clean up the weight classes for about 4 or so years, build the fight and then let Broner end his career. This is good for all parties involved. Gamboa cashes out, Broner becomes a superstar and Floyd get's paid off all of that. This is only if Broner leaves GBP and Gamboa can get away from Top Rank.
Broner just has to keep winning and acting like a moron and he'll adopt Floyd's current fan base.
No he wont, we hate him for being lame...and Broner fights little twelve year old kids, and he has no accuracy...he didnt land ANY punches on little bitty perez, and when he finally landed,, perez was not even conditioned to be taking a punch from a junior welterweight...Broner needs to go up and weight, fight someone like Khan, so he can get his first loss...being arrogant wont help him, when he's just gonna lose some day anyway...Floyd is arrogant because he knows no one can beat him, Broner is arrogant because he thinks he's Floyd, but after the losses, he will have to show that he can come back, and being arrogant wont help a loser!...Floyd doesnt lose, Broner WILL Lose!

Floyd knows Gamboa is the real deal and Broner is all hype, real recognize real.

I really enjoy watching philly shell fighters like Mayweather, Toney and now Broner somewhat.. Would be good if the Mayweather boxing gym keeps preaching this defense and produces more world champions in the same mold.
LOL at Broner being the new Mayweather, this kid is not even the new Berto. :lol1:
Floyd shouldn't waste his time with him, he already has real talented fighters under his wing : Dirrell and Gamboa.
You don't think Broner is a real talent? Broner's style is very similar to Floyd's and he is a future star. No, he's not as good as Floyd but he is very talented. Broner is 13 years younger than Floyd, that's who he grew up watching. It's nothing wrong with wanting to be like your idol. Floyd wants as many young talented fighters in his stable as possible so why say no to Broner just because of the fact you have Dirrell and Gamboa. I think it would be smart for Floyd to try to get in good with Broner if he wants Mayweather Promotions to become a viable Promotion company in boxing because Mayweather's current fighters like Vargas and Latimore are very average.
Floyd's career is winding down and he is starting to endorse some of the up and comers like Broner. Ward and the Dirrell brothers. Broner and Floyd pretty much have the same team with GBP and Haymon and it's clear Floyd is Broner's idol. I believe once Floyd is done fighting Floyd will keep his business relationship with Al Haymon and do Haymon favors like endorse Broner.

We are gonna need new stars soon, Mayweather is 35 and Pacquiao 33.
I agree he should not be pushed too quickly but in Broner we already have a ready made, ****y but skill full replacement for Floyd (although not nearly as good, IMO). Sooner he is famous the better for boxing.
