Yvon Michel tells me that a Jean Pascal-Tavoris Cloud fight is 'very close' to being consummated for late June, early July... #boxing

I do believe he was in the BHop-Jones Jr card... if that's the one you're talking about. But he got the W in the 2nd round so Idk how much you really got to watch .
If it's a guy I have seen in a Roy undercard, then yes i've seen him once. I was not impressed. I became disinterested right away and started doing something else. I'm not saying he's not good, just saying, I want to see him be "good" against good fighters. Easy to look good against the opponents that are being put in front of him.
But I do not think that Pascal could emulate what Campillo did to Cloud...Campillo threw in combination and exposed Clouds footwork...but Hopkins just embarrassed Pascal....BOTH are in need of strong performances and Pascal has been out for awhile after a tough series against the old man...combined with the rust that may affect his mental
But you can't compare Campillo to BHop... I rather lose to BHop in a rematch where I won the first one than get a KD vs Campillo and totally get outclassed by him from that point on. A lot of factors play into this fight and it's indeed hard to make a choice. Pascal the more experienced fighter but has had a very long lay off and we dunno how he's gonna show up but he might just be my choice.
@EngorgedW/Blood - You never really seen Sillakh? Shame on you! Tune in to some YouTube fights bro :fing02:.
Not sure who I'd pick yet...

Cloud may not be the fastest fighter but Pascal does loop his punches a little much and Cloud's pressure could just be enough...might be a good scrap...
cloud got this..
he fought poorly against campillo but he just had an off night and pascal doesnt bring any of the qualities that bothered cloud against campillo to the table anyways.
the short punches of cloud will get inside the wide shots from pascal, he will pick him off and catch pascal in the middle of his combinations. when he lands he will put a real hurting on pascal, when pascal takes those breaks cloud will cut the ring off and pressure him which will further wear pascal down.
pascal will give him trouble at times and i figure it will be close through 6, but pascal isnt consistent enough to keep cloud off him for 12 rounds. nightmare matchup for him imo, then again fighting sillakh or waiting around for dawson to spark him out isnt any better options.
25 Mil?.........
Let's do it.
But please read the WARNING, in my bets thread. If you wanna back out, do it now.

Pascal got this. He has power + speed and movement. He runs out of gas quickly but he has the footwork to stay out of harms way and take little breaks when he has to. Cloud doesn't open up until he's on the inside, perfect style for Pascal.
Pascal isn't a boxer, imo. He's a wild puncher who likes to brawl. If pascal could box, I could possibly see where you're coming from.
I think Clould will throw straight shots through Pascal's looping shots all night and possibly stop him; something similar to what Dawson was on his way to doing before the stoppage.
I also thought Cloud beat Johnson rather clearly, I'm not sure where the draw is coming from?
Pascal will win, end of story. Put your points where your mouth is.
Every body starts like that. A young fighter feels he's being ducked by the top guys, while the top guys are fighting eachother. This is a guy who fought Froch at 168, Dawson, Hopkins 2 times, and Diaconu 2 times at 175. I wouldn't believe he's running away from any one after a resume like that.
Low money, big risk
Duck alert
That duck was clear as day

I'll tune in to a fight of his when he steps up. Haven't seen him fight yet, but i'm honestly not interested right now. I'll check him out when he at least starts fighting the bottom 10 LHW's. I wouldn't accuse the top 3 LHW's of ducking a guy who is barely in the top 10.

How confident are you?
We both have about the same amount of points. How about 5 billion points? If you want less, just name it. I don't really care honestly.
Confirm the pm & I'll sig it.
Pascal still running from Silakh

Now this is a fight, fireworks written all over it.
Good for the LHW division, good for the sport of boxing.
Both are evenly matched for this, Pascal has the edge in speed and athleticism, Cloud has the edge in strenght and power, I'm completelly lost on who will prevail, 50-50 fight IMO.
What's good, how much??
