Ref: Are you done?
Jaco: Yeah, I think so.
Did I hear that correctly?...I had headphones on and i replayed it a bunch of times, I'm pretty sure that's what I heard.
Im watching this on TV right now. Dude got rocked with a jab when he gets hit he closes his eyes and opens his mouth .
Let's see how Pavlik does against the top names and what Garcia can do for him.
EDIT: Yea... the Jedi did not have the force on his side this time around. And you were right about the ref.

Very quick left hook. Jaco wanted a way out though, so it's hard to say how good Pavlik was or how bad Jaco is. Either way, he just needs to stay busy and keep shaking off the rust. Wouldn't mind a Chavez Jr. fight, even though I want to see him fight Maravilla next.
After his latest troubles with the law, he finally hit rock bottom. Now we can see if he truly can walk past his demons outside the ring and rebuild himself back in the ring. I cannot say I saw anything awe inspiring in there. It is hard to tell if he will ever be relevant again. He never had a real opponent in there to even slightly test him. I will say though he looked focused and wanted to be in the ring. That in itself is a good start considering how much he allowed himself to derail.
Pretty good display for Pavlik... Jaco looked like he wasn't there to fight... then again, Pavlik's on a whole different level than him.
true, but i really think that when he hits you, you realize the kid has some good power. Not the power from speed, or technique, but the leverage, and heavy hands like a sledge hammer. You see it, know its coming, and even though you do, its still hits you and shakes you to the bone. Just a heavy handed dude that pounds you, grinds you down.
big Kelly fan, always a fan, and hope he sticks on the right track. He has that power that just hurts you man. He was rusty, and needs to get his timing back for sure, but i like the feints, and his foot work was nice in comparison in his last few fights for sure. With a clear head this kid can still be a threat to anyone. He is just turning 30, so if he keeps his **** str8 he can still do very well. respect
Pavlik ate whatever he wanted leading up to the Jaco fight.
He still might be able to make 160 comfortable with a intense camp.
Will have to wait and see.
I hope so, didn't know that though
Would he fight at MW again? I think he said he felt weak there

I hope Pavlik keeps his nose clean and makes his way back to the big fights. He's in a good devision with some good fights to made that could put him back on the map. Chavez jr is the first that comes to mind and since Bob Arum won't let Chavez jr fight Martinez, Pavlik would be a great fight to be made.
i still think kelly can compete if he takes care of his body and trains with the dedication he was known for early in his career. he's got good technique and legitimate power. jaco clearly wasn't in his class but i'm looking forward to see what he can do against real competition. hopefully his move to california has him back on track and in top form.
If Pavlik looks good enough and continues down this path and beats and AA or Froch this fall, I would love to see him against Ward. I know probably everyone would think Ward would win easily, but I really think it could get interesting.
I'm craving the Chavez fight.
Two huge MW's going to war.
The left hook will be a big weapon for him if he keeps working on it. If Garcia can get him to go to the body more too that will make him competitive against a lot of the top fighters.
We just have to see where his weight ends up at, though. I seriously doubt that he make 160 ever again.
