it was a big cut but on the side, not diretly over the eye. they should've at least cleaned it and let go for a bit. linares gets tagged way to easily, though. To me the Doc didn't look at it long enough, but Linares was in real trouble with or without the cut.

Yes linares was cut which looked pretty bad but give the guy a chance to try to win, IMO fight could have continued. Two rules dont fight in your opponents hometown and dont fight in texas.
