I'd probably have to say Mosley vs DLH, followed by Hopkins vs Trinidad. Oscar already "beat" Trinidad for all intensive purposes, which lowers B-Hop's win over Trinidad in my mind, so from my perspective Mosley came up in weight to face the best fighter at 147 lbs at the time, and won in a great fight.
pac being the only man to stop Morales, not once, but twice has to go down as momentus achievements, especially after losing the first fight.
Knocking the great JMM down so many times gets an honourable mention as well, and not going down himself fighting all these great names needs to be mentioned for all those who try underestimate Pacs standing historically.
Has become such a stubborn fighter.
It's difficult to chose. There are Tarver KO2 over Jones , Pacquiao KO11 over Barrera in his first fight at 126, , Klitschko KO8 over Sam Peter after a 4 year retirement, no tune-up, winning almost every rd. Hopkins KO12 over Trinidad, after Trinidad helped with rubble disposal after 9/11.
The last is the most memorable because of the awful history attached, the first is the most shocking and unexpected as a fight result.
What do you consider this era? We're not in the 2000's anymore, we're in the 2010's so the greatest win so far is Hopkins beating Pascal, 17 yrs younger, to become the oldest man in history to win a world title.
Mayweather-Mosley > Hopkins-Pascal.....who the fu*k is Pascal?
Mayweather beat Mosley when he was the #1 WW and #3 P4P fighter in the world. Remember when everyone said Mayweather would never fight Mosley? IMO that win is much better than Hopkins win over Pascal...
:crazy::crazy::crazy:
I think they're almost equal, Pascal was The Ring 175 champion, Mosley was the Lineal 147 champion. But what changes everything is the age gap, Hopkins fought a 28 year old at 46, Mayweather fought a 38 year old at 33.
dont forget shane hadn't fought in almost a year and a half
Hopkins-Trinidad. People don't realize how badly written off Hopkins was for this fight. The guy was 35 years old and being called old and past it, while Trinidad was like 29 and undefeated, knocking almost every one out they put in front of him.
Definitely should be up there. It also had some historical context to it outside of boxing, as it was the first major sporting event to take place in NYC following 9/11.
best win of the past 10 years is Pacquiao Barrera 1 and its not even close, its one of the top 5 wins of the past 50 years.
Morales over Pacquiao
Barrera over Morales 2 & 3
Hopkins over Tarver
Hopkins over Winky
Segura over Calderon 1 & 2
Williams over Margarito
Taylor over Hopkins 1 & 2
Marquez over Tim Austin
Marquez over Vasquez 1
Vasquez over Marquez 2
Sanders over Wlad
Winky over Mosley 1 & 2
Martinez over Williams
and many others

championship clinching win by one of the oldest active athletes in the world?
You should say greatest accomplishments then.
Cause then it would be Jones-Ruiz, that one you just mentioned Hopkins-Pascal, Pacquiao becoming champion in his "8th weight class", Morales becoming "champion" in his 4th weight class, the first Mexican to do it.
championship clinching win by one of the oldest active athletes in the world?
It was far far far greater than him beating Pascal. No one thought Hopkins was honestly going to win that fight against Trinidad.

I disagree bro. Sure it night have been worth more, but Hopkins won over 40. It was a great win for Hopkins and I think it was a great win for the era.
I wouldn't put Jones in that list, his era was the 90s. Hence him winning the FOTD in the 90s, and he definitely had some of the best wins in the 90s, Hopkins, Toney, McCallum. I would rate his win over Gonzalez and Tarver in the 2000s better than Ruiz, but the accomplishment of winning the WBA title is the biggest accomplishment of his era.
Why is Hopkins-Pascal II on there??? Unless I misunderstood what exactly you're asking. I'd probably say Hopkins-Trinidad is up there.
