martinez-williams hands down.
i knew pac was gonna lay hatton out before the fight so it was no suprise. granted it was more brutal than i expected but still, it was always an easy fight for manny.
williams on the other hand is no easy fight for anyone and had a win on martinez going in. he has a granite jaw and had never even been close to being stopped. going in i thought it was a toss up fight, if anything i was leaning towards williams.
look at the way the fights were going too. if you didnt know going in im sure you knew after the first round hatton wasnt gonna last. williams on the other hand was doing well, he lost the first round big but he was controling the pace of the fight and martinez looked very uncertain and uncomftorable between rounds. he landed some great shots in the first but williams walked rtight through them which made it all the more shocking when martinez iced him with one punch seemingly out of nowhere.
the punch was more beautiful too. im not gonna say it was a great punch bcuz it wasnt, williams made it easy for him tbh but so did hatton.
Hatton was a drug addict, suicidal and crying before the fight by his own admission. He was lazy and could barely make weight though *******s will relabel this as being a good thing saying "it was his best weight". Hatton also neglected to "move his damn head" which aided poochaio.
Martinez KOed a fearless warrior with black african american slickness who was the first to beat prime margarito before everyone and their grandma started beating him.
I have to say Pacquiao. Simply for the fact that Merchant asks the question
"can he beat the count", just priceless. I was there sitting in the upper bowl and everyone knew it was over when that punch landed! The sound of it reverberated through the whole arena.
"Can he beat the count" ha ha!
Martinez. Cause I heard Paul Williams finally woke up last week...
You left out doniare's KO of Montiel.. That one was great! He had Montiel on the mat looking like he was trying to ride a bicycle lol
Montiel wasn't slept though. He somehow actually got back up. That would have been my #1 had he not got back up.
Sergio's was better for a few reasons;
1. Williams, at that stage, was a far better opponent than Hatton.
2. Williams was known for having an iron chin.
3. It was flat out scary, he looked like he could have been dead.
Hatton had been knocked out less than 2 years before. Hell, he had just been put down on his ass hard 2 minutes before.
Paul Williams was the most feared blah blah.
To me it is pretty obvious.
Martinez's. Hattons been slept before. The Punisher was known for having a cast iron chin.
Slept before? u mean by the corner? I admit, Martinez' ko was beautiful but i think Pac's was a bit more only because of the snoring and teeth grinding Hatton was doing...
more aesthetic?
up for debate
greater?
probably pacquiao. he stretched a hall of famer out like a newborn. he's also a former flyweight and for some reason people forget it
Hatton is a hall of famer? what?
