I find it interesting that Floyd is being hated by the very same P@@ctardos that praised Manny for wanting weight drain Cotto again into a rematch, But when Floyd steps up and gives Cotto the opportunity for Cotto to fight at his best, the P@@ctardos get on the hate crusade calling Cotto Manny's left over when while not realizing Manny is ducking the version of Cotto Floyd is fighting. Manny had first dibs on Cotto, but refuse cause Cotto didn't want to be suckered in into another Mannyweight draining scam.
Floyd taking another fighter at his best. While Manny is taking on the 140 champ at 147 lol.....War Manny!!!!
Pac would have got props for rematching Cotto at 145 let alone 147, at least Pac gives rematches, something which is alien to Floyd, unless he loses like he did with castillo and wanted to avenge the loss.

You mean Cotto at 145lbs
What question am I avoiding? About avoiding Mosley? Mosley was doing what Sergio was doing- trying to get a big $ fight. Whether it was Manny or Roach who said NO. It didn't matter b/c Manny fought someone who beat Mosley (Cotto who was also under TR). See how things intertwine. Dont you guys complain about the TR fight monopoly? How come that doesn't get entered into this argument? Hell, it took a year and half for someone to take on Shane....
Would I have paid for a Pac/Cotto II? Hell NO. who wants to see that again? They are 2 of my favorite boxers too, but a second fight is garbage. I have always thought so. I even said, I wouldn't be mad a Miguel if he retired after his Marg revenge win. But a Floyd fight is $, so I don't blame him.
Am sorry man. Nothing against you personally because I don't know you, but your mistaken with being a fan of Pacquiao. This dude has defrauded a whole weight class into winning a 154 belt. Wins a 147 belt at a CW in a division in which he has already fought at. Avoids Mosley only to fight him when his irrelavent. Pac digs countless excuses why he doesn't want to be tested and why he can't fight Floyd. Then this guy ask Marquez to come up to 147 were it doesn't need to be. Just like the bradley fight. That fight should be at 140. Fights Margo at 150, but not Sergio. Now wanted to rematch Cotto at 147!!!
Not including his fake personal in which his constentatly contradicts his personal. His a fraud in and out of the ring. Thats my opinion. I don't hate for no reason. Shoot I can't stand Floyd either now. I think his stance on wanting a bigger share is as ridicolus as Pac wanting to fight cotto at 147. I blame Floyd for the fight not happening this time around even thought I dont trust Pac's intentions because he pulled out at the last minute because his all of a sudden fear of needles.
Sorry man. But I think Pac is a joke and I think its even a bigger joke for those who fallow Pac.
So I see your going to duck the reply I directed to you by diverting the attention some where else. BTW, where Have I stated Floyd should get credit for fighting Cotto? I think its a lame fight even at 154, which am not surprised Manny wanted it at a even more ridiculous weight of 147.
Let me ask you. Do you think it was ridiculous for Manny to want to set up a fight with Cotto at 147? Would you have payed for it?

Fixed it for you. haha.
Bro, trying to get people to give props to Floyd for fighting Cotto at this stage of Cotto's career is an uphill battle. Floyd is basically fighting Cotto's name.

It is for Pac. Apperantly for Pac Cotto is only an option at 147 and no higher. Why is that? Floyd is basically fighting Pac's leftovers

The weight is not the point----Floyd is fighting a guy Pacquiao beat from pillar to post, and did it when Cotto had more in the tank than he has now. The weight issue is just smoke screen for the fanboys to keep loving everything floyd does

It was up to Cotto to accept the terms. It was his belt. His previous fight before Mannys, he was 146. Cotto was Manny's first test going up in weight. You realize how big Manny is right?
IIRC, it was actually Roach who turned down Mosley for a CW of 142-143. Mosley that low, what kind of fight would that have been. not very competitive, Id say.
Being strong armed doesn't mean Cotto felt it was fair. Cotto was forced to put his belt on the line!!!How was Cotto Manny's first test going up in weight when Manny had just fought Oscar? Was Marquez 3 Manny's first weight at 147 as well?
You really going to blame Roach for refusing Mosley fight even at a CW. You think if they thought they could smash Mosley when Mosley was on top that they wouldn't go for it? Dude they would be on it in a minute. The fact that Manny was begging to fight Cotto now at 147 and no higher shows what a scam of a match maker Pac and his team is. How competative would that fight be(with Cotto at 147)? Pac was sure was pushing for it? You really think scam match makers like Pac would not fight Mosley when his only valnarable oh wait they did.

Wither or not it was Manny's fault is irrelavent, the fact that Manny accepted Oscar at 147, but refused to accept Cotto at 147 shows enough. Manny even refused Mosley at a catch-weight when Mosley was on top. Why would Manny then take Mosley later on when he was less marketable? Perhaps he was a big name that was no longer a threat...hmmmmmmmm

Actually NO. Oscar was the favorite going into the fight. Manny went up 2 weight classes for the DLH dream-match (ask Floyd how its doing for him since his). It wasn't Manny's fault Oscar was couldn't make the weight comfortably.

If one pound was nothing then why would Cotto hisitate in putting his belt on the line?
Manny fought Mosley when he was less relevant. I wonder why.
I never said Manny dictated anything to Oscar. Manny accepted the fight cause Oscar could no longer pull the trigger and make the weight. The fact that Manny accepts a 147 fight with Oscar and not a 147 with Cotto shows Manny use of weight for his advantage which was even more obvious by then later wanting Marquez 3 at 147 at first lol....Thats rediculous and even more so by now wanting/wanted Cotto at 147 where Cotto would be surely weak..

Wow, stop parroting what others say and get your own opinion. Its obvious you did not watch the fight. Cotto personally said the 1 pound is nothing, the first 5 rounds proved Cotto was not drained. He was just beaten down. I love Miguel as a fighter and all, but he threw the drain excuse out there for his own ego.
Manny should not have fought Mosley at all, it was useless and garbage. period (no disrespect to Shane). The weight for the Marg fight gave the advantage to the bigger Marg, if you cant see that. No help for you bro.
Do you honestly think Manny dictated anything to Oscar? Your arguments are that of a hater. Nothing else, no substance.

It wasn't just one pound. Cotto was having a hard time with the weight at that time. Hence why Cotto didn't want to put his belt on the line because he didn't feel he would be at a 100%, but Manny had his dad strong arm Cotto into being drain and having his belt on the line. Cotto was even struggling in his training camp for Pac with the weight. He was not eating and not confortable...

Marg had not fought at 147 in a while and was coming off a year lay off. Why you think he didn't come back at 147, cause he couldn't make it as he use to. Manny made Margo come down like he did with Mosley. He made Mosley come down from 154 as well and at their point of their careers its a big deal which is why Roach was up for the fights. Pac has never fought at 154. He fought at 150 and is willing to fight certain fighters at certain weights. He fought Oscar at 147, but Cotto at 145. Then He wanted Marquez3 originally at 147, but 145 was ok for Cotto. Manny always setting up catch weights for his advantage.
Do you honestly think Manny dictated anything to Oscar? Your arguments are that of a hater. Nothing else, no substance.
Pac-Cotto II at any weight is garbage. From 147-154 no one is saying different besides what 2 or 3 retarded ass posters?
You on the other hand are complaining about a fight not happening that if it did you would have been shittin on anyways. And, this thread would be Pac ducking Martinez. But, again that would have been valid. That would have been a thread I would supported.
Am not complaining. Am just trying to understand the logic in people claiming Pac vs Cotto at 147 to be a more meaningful then Floyd vs Cotto at 154. Do I personally want these fights, hell no. I think the Floyd VS Cotto fight is (as you say) garbage as well.
All am saying is Manny exposed himself again as using weight as a smoke screen by wanting Cotto at 147 as his first option cause Cotto is the safest and more business sense, but apparently at 154 Manny feels differenlty and thats the point. Manny fighting bradley cause Manny feels is less risk then Cotto at 154. I think his done and mistaken and will be expose like he was with Marquez. Bradley beats Pac all my points!!!

I agree with that. Pac - Cotto 2 at any weight is garbage.
Pac and Cotto is a fight that we have seen before. I for one am glad that we don't have to watch it again. Bradley is a young hungry fighter, that I have no doubt, win or loose, he will make it a fight. Cotto - May fight is another fight we haven't seen already and is better then watching Cotto - Pac again. I am glad that things worked out the way they did because we are going to end up with much better fights this way.
Also apparently to Floyd fans he would have deserved credit as well.
You have a few idiotic Floyd fans here arguing that Pac should have fought Cotto at 154. The only reason that fight should have taken place was for me not to lose my account.
Because, that fight would have been absolute garbage.
Really no point in a Cotto rematch at all.
weight draining?
cotto from 146 (he cannot even make 147) to 145, 1 pound? dat u consider weight drain? margarito a lifetime welterweight basically, only had one fight at 154 before he fought pac, dat fight couldve been made at 147 no catchweight, but its obvious it was for a belt at 154. weight drain? i dont think so...pac already said after da margarito fight dat he wouldnt fight at 154 anymore because of the size...so how is it that pac find cotto dangerous at 154 when pac had state that he will no longer fight above 147 after the margarito fight
