The fact you expected Pacquiao to move up to 154 after having fought at 130 a few months before he signed to fight Oscar says you probably only started following boxing very recently and your knowledge needs alot of work. So if We are saying Mosley was shot for the Floyd fight then was he shot for margarito? and with the way he beat margarito can we assume that Margarito was shot too? And if Margarito beat cotto should we then assume that cotto was shot when him and margarito fought? Or that this one fight made cotto shot? wouldnt this make all three of these guys shot before Manny faced them so then should we not count these wins for floyd or Manny? Bottom line is you can't argue this one way or the other they were either shot for both floyd and Manny or live for both with the only exception being the mora fight for Mosley showing serious drop off. Do you see how ridiculous this can get?

The old Margarito? Do you mean the one that got caught cheating? Also i remember reading where Cotto said these fights were all that was offered to him by Arum. But now Arum gone and this fight is made. Food for thought Perhaps Margarito was cheating ... but we will never know for sure ... but Margarito was way more healthy in the previous fight ... Margarito was still able to take everything that Cotto gave and more .... and connected on Cotto much more and walked him down better ...... he did everything way better in that fight than the one that they just fought .... some I credit Cotto for making some adjustments but if one is being objective about it, Margarito from old would have presented a different fight. I was cheering Cotto all the way in both fights ... but you have to admit, Margarito vs Cotto I, was not the same as Margarito vs Cotto II .... and I will cheer for Cotto against Floyd but I just haven't seen enough of a turnaround from Cotto to say this will be competitive ....

So why didn't Pacquiao take that chance to go after a young hungry lion like Andre Berto or someone else?
