Khan is "amateur" fast. He displays blazing speed in the first 3 rounds (number of rounds in amateur fights) and then is either running around or dead tired if the fight is a little tough.
Pacquiao, Mayweather, Gamboa, Dirrell, Bradley, even Zab Judah and a host of others are faster than Khan.
Roach says Khan has faster hands than Pac.
So does Rashad Holloway who has spared with both as for Zab, Bradley and Dirrell being faster LOL.
Pacquiao is ridiculously fast. Now I agree Khan probably has the just edge at this point (fastest fighter in the sport?), but there really isn't much between them.
The key difference of course is that Khan doesn't have Pacquiao's power (or chin really), imagine if he did...

Paris is a distinctly average fighter Zab can look super against fighters of that calibre.
Every time Zab has stepped up in competition the only thing super has been the beatings he receives.
I disagree. Khan has faster hand speed than all of those guys. Manny isn't on his level when it comes to hand speed. Manny looks extremely fast when he throw short punches, but when Pacquiao overextends himself and leans in to throw punches, he doesn't look faster than Judah and Khan.

He's always had faster handspeed than Mayweather but not Pacquiao who's on a higher level with Khan for handspeed.

Zab has always been good. I still say he's past his prime, he's not what he was back from 2000-2007, but he's still alright. He can still beat a Danny Garcia or Joan Guzman at 140, or even a Lamont Peterson I think.
If Judah can win another title at 140, that'll make 7 titles Judah will have won. He's always been good, just not "great" or able to beat the top guys. And he's been upset a few times. He still has wins over Bergman, Witter, Corley, Pineda, Spinks, Matthysse, and now Paris. He has a pretty decent resume for a good fighter.
I have said this before I agree many won't but I think he does have faster hand speed than floyd and manny.

You can't deny he looked faster than in his previous fights. I wonder if he still trains with whitaker?
No, he doesn't work with Zab anymore... He's with his Uncle now

Yes that is also true vernon isn't what many thought he was. Who knows what's next for zab maybe IBF title shot.
I think his speed was the same it's just that he used more variety of punches and his jab which was nice. But then again when one guy throws a variety of punches against vernon who wasnt that fast of course zab looked really good. He's good though but i've seen alot faster. It just seems to me he looked a lot more polished.
Yes I was thinking that once he gets hit he becomes mentally incapable, but he looked good last night.
He's a frontrunner. When some light opens up he jumps all over it and looks better then anyone could imagine. WHen it gets tough he folds.
I hate guys like that.
