Yeah I dont see him losing to Garcia, just too skilled for the kid. But I give props to Zab for winning this fight, cause his career could've been buried had he lost. What was the reason behind Sweet Pea not working his corner though? I have no idea, my guess is either Pernell is still a cokehead and unreliable, or Zab wasn't happy with his preparation with him in the Khan fight and made a change. tbh it's too late in his career for a new trainer to make much difference anyway. Anyone know why Zab and Pernell split?

Yeah he should fight Garcia that's a way easier fight and an easy belt for him, although Garcia is a tough SOB. But ever since Zab lost to Baldomir I stopped getting hyped about him, I let my guard down after the Mabuza win...and well....yeah. Being a Zab Judah fan is like having a deadbeat father. He'll maybe come around every couple weekends, you guys hang out and have fun and you have high hopes and excitement about the future............until the massive disappointment that ensues when you dont see him for the next 8 years I think he'd win by a wide UD, too quick and slick for garcia he was having problems landing on old man Morales. I agree I never get hyped about Zab now,in fact I expect him to lose after 4 rounds. In a way it's good because it means when he puts in a brilliant performance like tonight it's a surprise.

Zab looked fantastic, but when he is in another big fight he's gonna fail hard he's the manditory for the Khan/Peterson winner, both those guys would beat him. He should go after Garcia he could actually win that fight and look good doing it.

I don't think he would beat Peterson tbh, cuz his whole game is pressure, and that is what kills Judah. Peterson is a strong dude too, so he'd probably be able to bully Zab around. One thing I see workin in Zab's favor is, Lamont likes to work on the inside where Zab is actually quite decent. Zab's money punch in this fight would be his left uppercut on the inside. Zab would look amazing the first four rounds (as usual) but then the pressure would get to him and he'd fold like he normally does in the late rounds. would be an interesting match up though. Green K sent for the decent fight breakdown.

Beautiful performance. Gutsy and aggressive while ask being smart. If he was able to maintain this kind of thing when facing adversity, he could get back in the mix. But he gets too frustrated and has lost a little speed (though he's still fast).

Zab Judah vs Danny Garcia would be a great fight!! I think Judah would dismantle Garcia (If he fights like he did tonight) was not impressed by Garcia tonight.

He just beat the tar out of Vernon. HAHA...didn't even see the fight but knew Zab was in another class than freaking Vernon Paris..sob story or not, dude is not a good boxer imo. Glad to hear that Zab represented :boxing:

I'm just glad he's putting on a good show for Network TV. co sign, Judah is a good network tv fighter, they need to put guys like him on who can be exciting but won't command a massive purse. pretty impressed by the NBC broadcast tonight, pretty solid fights so far.

Lets just hope that Zab maybe is a late bloomer but i`m not getting my hopes up anymore.I`ve been disappointed by Zab too many times to do that.And what`s the point of making thread of this when you could have posted it on the Zab/Paris RBR thread? Doubt it the guy relies on speed and footwork and refexes those things decline as you get older.
