Larry Holmes: Floyd Mayweather's too scared!

This is old and we heard it all before, former US great says Floyd is scared/his fault the fight has not happened. How many times have we heard this? This is not news, it common knowledge, something everybody knows, just like we know the grass is green and the sky is blue, we also know now Floyd is scared of Pacquiao. Maybe we need a sticky thread on the topic of US greats calling Floyd scared and blaming him for the fight not happening. Larry is not the first and he is not going to be the last. But lets be honest we all know this already just that some of us can't admit it publicly. ^^^^^ this.

First off I don't care about midget floyd or midget manny ducking each other and being overall cowards. It's different when you talk about other fighters that have nothing to do with your fame .... one can say Holmes was objective in his analysis on "Floyd is scared" but when he talks negatively about someone who was in his division one needs to determine of he is being totally objective. Lewis had a very good jab and would have given Holmes lots of problems. I don't see Holmes winning that fight ... Holmes had a great jab of his own but if that becomes ineffective then Holmes loses badly .... that is my take on that fight ..... but I would have loved to have seen it, for sure!

What exactly os Floyd scared of???? He would be favored to beat Pacquiao. He's bigger, faster and a superb counter puncher. Pac was afraid of needles remember???? Plus, everybody knows Arum doesn't wanna make the fight with Floyd. Let's be serious here people. Ask Floyd.

Floyd seems to be able to make a fight with Cotto with no problems, but not Pac yet. So Floiyd is not too scared of Cotto now, like he was before so retired. Pac agreed to OSDT yet still no fight, so obviously floyd is putting up barriers to the fight still. Actions tell us everything so people will continue to assume Floyd is scared of Sergio and Pac until he fights them.

I still feel its both of their faults. And while we have been waiting for them to come to terms, both fighters have slipped out of their primes. Even if they fight now, we have still been cheated, by both of their lame ass excuses, of the very best fight they could have put on. Before, Pac had a hell of a chance of outworking Floyd and making it a hell of a fight. Now, Pac's just going to get easily outpointed by Mayweather. If Pac could berly beat JMM, how the hell is he going to beat Mayweather? This fight has lost all the potential of being great.
