Funny youre comparing fans to pre teen girls. Mayweather and Pacquiao would not be as successful as they are without their fame. I think the testing will eventually be all year and not just months before the fight. However better testing has to start somewhere and Floyd will be known as the man who started it all.... Boxing is forever in his debt. They wont ever test all year until it becomes a lick test and its as accurate as a blood test , , testing a fighter from when the contract is signed until after the fight is by far the most economic efficient time frame for a pro boxer , people combine how bodybuilding and Athletics uses peds and try and paint a boxer the same , its not , they dont cycle performance animals because of the same reasons cycling a boxer is not done , no real benefit while not in full training .

the sports world is getting shady and better testing couldn't be bad. nice to see fighters well aware of their health in this sport. i'm sure if it was in the protocol to do testing in boxing many fighters wouldn't care. i do not see it being appropriate to first accuse and disrespect a fighters hardship to get to success and throw testing as a new rule. that's why i respect hopkins reaction to wanna scuffle when being called a cheater. clean up the sport with proper steps. saying that fighters are following but there are also some great fighters who don't do testing as well. should fans just not watch a fight if there isn't testing. why don't we help as well?

It's great to see Khan Peterson II conducting Olympic style drug testing, Berto-Ortiz also had olympic drug testing involved just to name a few..... Floyd said he wanted to clean up the sport and thats what he is doing, It's great to see other big names follow the face of the sports lead. I'm for better testing, but how many examples do we have that OST is far superior over State commission tests (particularly Nevada)? Seems like people are just riding on the wagon of better testing because Floyd is endorsing it for his fights. Prior to that, there were cases of Boxers using steroids or peds and were caught by the State commissions, particularly this guy who lost...under the influence. Again, I'm all for better testing on a broad level as new supplements and enhancements are constantly being made , but if we're going to be cheer leading OST let's see some examples of how much of a big improvement the tests are more than the state commissions. I believe they've caught 1 or 2 people as of recent? The big difference I see from jump is how often the tests occur for OST (yearly basis), which no boxer has truthfully followed (yet).
