Since people asked the same thing about juanma losing to salido again...well what happends to khans career if he loses to peterson again? or what if he gets KO'd this time?
I laugh at this,I think Khan is a harder puncher then Peterson..What happen there??Peterson had Ortiz very gun shy,for fear of being hurt,I see Khan havin a very similar impact...
FUCCK ME where are the Khan fans, got me making an argument for Khan, just does'int feel right...
still here but the whole whining for appeals and trash talk leading up to and after the peterson fight has put my opinion down on him, if he took the loss like a man and talks less shit i will be happy if he continues whining and bragging constantly whether he wins or loses in future i might consider not following him anymore only so much i can listen to, but for now hes ok
IMO ppl have already realized how limited as a fighter he is. As long as ppl expect him to be a good fighter among a bunch of other good fighters then they won't be disappointed. But he's never gonna be as great as ppl really thought before.
I agree. I doubt he will ever has what it takes to be the future P4P king a lot of people were hyping him up to be. Can still be really good, but I won't consider him on that level.
If Khan loses again to Peterson, he will take a huge step back from being considered in the elite money of boxing and fighter, make no mistake about it. He would have to have a moment like Ortiz did against Berto to redeem himself against a big name at 147 IMO.
Also, he doesn't beat Khan, it's a bad match up for him because we see he can't fight on the inside. Ortiz is relentless and very strong at 147 and it will take an impressive boxing display to keep Ortiz off of him for 12 rounds.
I see Ortiz KO'ing him in the later rounds because he pushes forward so much and is much more physically stronger than Khan.
What examples do we have of Ortiz relentless aggression at 147lb???Is it his fight with the motion less Berto(who is not that good and is yet to beat a top 5 fighter at WW)or him being KO'd by Floyd???
Khan beats Ortiz, he's faster has a better jab and all he has to do is use jab and Ortiz will be discouraged. If you saw the Peterson fight with Ortiz you'd see how he reacts to getting hit. He didn't like it from maidana or Petersom twofighters with differing power. Ortiz is one of the most mentally weak fighters and individuals in boxing right now. Ortiz is huge though and he'd orob have to fight in close to beat khan but that's not his A game.

He's still popular... so he'll get built up again and if Paulie wins a belt... they'll probably set him up for a rematch against Paulie to win a strap.
Oh god I hope not...:ugh:
I think there would probably be a trilogy. Let's face it, Khan isn't getting stopped and if he loses it will be in a close and exciting fight. Unless Mayweather steals Peterson, we'd possibly see a third fight between the two.

He will get downgraded to ESPN Friday nights......LMAO

Hard time to be a Khan fan bro... very hard time :lol1: :lol1:
But deep down i always knew rome had our backs :grouphug:
He would likely retire. I mean it took him 4 years to recover from his last decisive loss, you think he can afford to wait another 4? He'll move up and lose and then it's over.
Good points.
Khan just doesn't have the power to back up Ortiz. Peterson was walking right through those punches. Speed doesn't matter if there is no pop in the shots. Ortiz has the kind of power to lay Khan out- even if he's mentally weak

Ortiz will have many advantages. He will have better power, strength, chin, stamina. Khan will have a speed advantage but Ortiz will eventually get him down the stretch.
I don't agree with the chin advantage,Ortiz has been down and KO'd very recent..At both 140lb and 147lb,and has taken way more punishment then Khan so far in their Career's...
I have a big problem with that prediction.
Ortiz only struggles against fighters that dish out relentless pressure - Maidana, or have the ability to adjust - Peterson like and counter punch, whilst being supremely defensive well - Mayweather.
Khan does not fight like any of them. I feel that once Khan tastes some of Ortiz's power, the same way Berto did. He'll crumble and back up. Opening the door for vicious shots from Victor to rape his body up top with! :lol1: Slight exaggeration with that final sentence but you get my drift.

Top Rank has Juanma being set up to fight Dib or WV2.
GBP will do something similar to that for Khan if he loses. Just put him back on the comeback trail against okay named opponents. Just like they did with him after Presscot. What more can they do?
I still would pick Khan over Ortiz tho,Ortiz is too mentally weak for my liking..

What Jackie said. Also I argue that Khan is more mentally frail than Ortiz. He lost a fight and b1tched about it for months and even blamed Rev. Run. Khan was believing his own hype and he got shot down to reality and it crushed him.

LOL,I think Ortiz struggles from being hit,Peterson kept a jab in his face and gave Ortiz movement in their fight..That sounds like Khan's style if I've ever heard it..Ortiz get's discourage by movement and being hit(no matter the punch, hell it could be a jab it will discourage him),he let's off the gas..His mentality does not fit his style imo,if only he could have Maidana's mentality with his skill set,Ortiz would be a beast..But as it stands he does not have it,Khan will touch him up slip and slid clinch when close and win this fight going away..I would also pick Alexander over Ortiz for the exact same reasons...

He would move up to 147 pounds and he will have to keep his mouth shut and build his reputation again. Look at Alexander, people were saying he can't fight on the elite level. Moved up to 147 and had a win over Maidana and he is in the mix once again.
