He was a major sparring partner for Margarito when he fought Cotto the second time.

Damn that guy is huge. He has fought as high as super middle.
Don't know much about J Leon, d'ya reckon he'll be good work for Floyd?

Gillie dissing Cassidy there. Also claims he ghostwrote for Lil Wayne.
Anyways...
Cotto fans: Yo, Henry the truth. Fights just like Cotto, b!
Cotto fans after Henry spars with Floyd: Doesn't fight like Cotto at all, please man, they're nothing alike. Cotto looks like Pernell Whitaker compared to Henry.
GREEN K sent.....

Headed over to @FloydMayweathers for sparring. I'm getting the best work from the top of the food chain. There's no way I won't be champ.
Omar Henry has always been regarded as Cotto's clone. But anyone who's actually seen Henry fight knows that's far from the truth. They look a like as far as their stance goes. But as far as overall ability in the ring?

They can only get so many sparring partners, they usually arent the best. Cotto is perhaps the best at 154 in the world other than if you count martinez. Anyone they get as a sparring partner will not be as good as cotto, that is the way it goes.
That's cool that he is sparring and it's making news. I've never heard of Henry and didn't know he was like Cotto. I guess he's already won the fight since he is similiar, should be a blowout then. I think we need to wait and hear from Cotto's camp as well and see how he's sparring is going before we make too much of this. They both will be ready, my opinion is that whoever can execute the plan and all that training in the fight will win. We know Floyd is Favored, let's hope it's a good fight with some surprises. I just don't want to see a blowout. Cotto better come ready which i'm sure he will try and make it close.
I'm sure he did. Wayne started sounding like him after the Carter I.
Lol this song still gets me, I gotta hear it from time to time.

Not going to embed because this is a boxing topic, don't wanna turn it in to a rap subject.
Wayne is s**t. He gets schooled everytime a really legit emcee is on a track with him. Just lsten to Em on Drop the World, No Love, and Forever....and than listen to Wayne.
Never bought the Wayne hype, he's f**king bulls**t. And it's nice to know his Carter IV album didn't do as well as Carter III.
he'll be alot sharper than he was with Ortiz cause he isnt coming off of a long layoff
Very good point, and glad to hear Mayweather is sharp, especially with so much time left until the fight. Not a good sign for Cotto.

I find it funny how different the stories are that come out of Pac and Floyd's training camps. Pac is always distracted and getting his ass whooped, and Floyd is always a brutal killer destroying all his sparring partners from day one.
To be honest with you, I'm not that all bothered about him beating up Henry. It's the sharpness which I'm pleased to hear about. Which means he'll get time to work on other things. I remember the first open workout session he did for the Ortiz fight, he wasn't looking that sharp for a while, whereas now it sounds like his timing is all there.
that was just ring rust.. he had wayy too much time of between fighting Mosley and fighting Ortiz. this time he hasn't been out of the ring for as long.
No, It means hes going to beat the **** out of Cotto!
Idk, I think Floyd's going to beat Cotto up because I already thought. I don't know if we should base it off something Ishe Smith told us he heard.
Hopefully he overtrained.. hehe. Cotto is gonna whoop that azz and expose the fraud, even this post-plaster beating and post-pac beatdown version of him.

To play devils advocate, this may not be a good thing if true. Could just mean Omar's inexperience doesn't make him a viable sparring partner for a fighter like Floyd, and a poor choice to prepare for a fighter like Cotto.

I'd say it's more seasoning than ability. Henry just isn't close to the Floyd/Cotto level just yet. He's still a very young fighter in the early stages of his career.

ooooh interesting way to look at it
