floyd will probably win on points but he will finally be in a fight where it will seem like he was in a fight.Cotto will hit Mayweather harder and more often than any of his opponents since Castillo.Cotto doesn't do well with pressure fighters, he loses his cool and timing, but floyd would give him all the time in the world to set up counters and sit on his punches.
Exactly. Floyd isn't just anybody.
It's, every body this, every body that...Except Floyd. Lol.
Watch when the fight looks like another Floyd boxing clinic, and Cotto doesn't put up much of a fight...you will hear, Cotto is done, Cotto is past it, prime Cotto woulda done this, 2009 Cotto woulda done that. By the same people who are calling this a good fight, and believe Cotto will be Floyd's toughest opponent since Castillo. It's gonna be funny, i'm just gonna sit back relax while reading the post fight comments.
i thought that was mosley
Anybody who has ever fought Mosley has been in a fight...Anybody who has ever fought Ortiz has been in a fight...Anybody who has ever fought Gatti has been in a fight...Anybody who has ever fought Marquez has been in a fight...

I also believe Mayweather is going to walk Cotto down and put pressure on him
This is very well known, Pac's strength is his offense. Almost every one acknowledges that Pacquiao's defense is terrible, he can be hit. And when I say he can be hit, every boxer can be hit, but this guy Pacquiao...he can get TOUCHED up. If boxers wouldn't average around 30% of their punches landed on him, I would just brush it off as him bruising easily. But 27-33% is very good, it's excellent actually, and that's what Cotto, Margarito, Marquez, Clottey, managed to land on him. Margarito. Actually, if you're landing more than that, you're on Hopkins/Mayweather accuracy territory.
We're talking about 2010 Margarito here. Margarito son.
What good is your defense if a slow past it Tony can land that many punches on you? Really how good are you defensively? Or in reality, how bad is your defense?
...BWAHAHAHA!!!! So what if Manny gets hit, the whole point is he hits you back 3x's more and harder. How many did Manny land on Margarito? Even if Floyd landed 100% if he were to fight Marg he wouldn't have landed as many as Manny.

Incorrect, Kev.

He also wont have to weigh 145 for the fight. I think that had something to do with him tiring down the stretch.

my prediction as well. cotto countered pac very well first few rounds and was winning some of them when the KD's came. he just really succumbed to relentless non-stop pressure. while floyd is the better counterpuncher and has better defense, his style wont intimidate or take cotto out of his element or gameplan.
Ya, i dont understand some people. Of all the people that mayweather has fought, of all people, cotto cant make a fight out of it?
But since cotto lost to a cheater, and a tremendous offensive fighter, he wa never good in the first place, right? Some people's kids mang....
Posting something about Pacquiao's hardships in the fight is a stupid way to back up your argument. Pacquiao has little to no defense, this guy looked like he was in a fight against Joshua Clottey, where he won 120-108. Pac looks like he's in a fight, in almost every fight.

"Although Pacquiao beat Cotto, it was a physically demanding fight. Pacquiao suffered a broken right ear drum in addition to the cuts and bruises on his face, Roach said."
