So we were all set for a robbery then until Salido spolied the party.
Fair play to Salido for even taking the rematch in Peurto Rico anyway after he won the 1st time by KO.
He just has Juanmas number. Lopez isnt finished but he cant deal with that style and in the end chose suicidal tactcis. He was better off going on the run and trying to steal a hometown deciision but in round 8 he came out with significantly different tactcis.
I dont know if it was his teams decision or his own to go forward and brawl for rounds 8 and 9 but it played right into Salidos hands and took everything out of Lopez. May he thought he could land that right hook again but everyone could see he was doing himself more harm that good trying to trade.
Great great fight
WHen I score fights I will try to take into account the judges bias; or sometimes I will keep two scorecards. . . On the "realistic" scorecard I had the fight all square at stoppage time. Gave Juan Ma rounds 2,4,5(knock down). Gave Salido 1,3,6,7. Then I had 8 and 9 both 10-10 rounds.
An interesting idea. I'm going to try that next time.
The judges had some Coquito before the fight.

Nah coquito aint that strong. I believe those bum judges had a mix of 151 and cocaine.
Another robbery was about to come down if Juanma would have survived. Its a shame the disgraceful judging and post fight comments somewhat tarnished a great action fight.
Do you agree with the judges scorecards?
If you find someone that agree with the scorecards, please shoot him. I had in my house watching the fight 12 bias pro juanma and none saw Juanma winning that fight. And I mean real nuthuggers that know him from the gym here in Caguas and the days he hangs out in our neighborhood. So I doubt that any others can justify that scorecard.
Seeing back scorecards, this is not the worst i seen recently,l got Salido 2 points up .
Glad el mejicano pulled the upset this guy got cojones
First time is an upset, second time Salido was obviously the better boxer.
I doubt Salido could have lost a decision even with those scorecards had Lopez been able to last the 12 round distance. He was knocked down (giving Salido a 10-8 round in the 10th) and would have had nothing left to steal the win in the final rounds, as Salido seemed to be getting stronger. But it's always good to see a fighter take the decision into his own hands and finish the fight.
At this stage winning a judge's decision is 50-50 even if you have dominated the fight from the beginning.
Do you agree with the judges scorecards?
That was some bull***** imo,Salido was winning the fight..I had it closer then the commentators had,but Salido was clearly winning...
