Adrien Broner vs Takashi Uchiyama

Another victim. lol. this guy doesnt have a chance against Broner. No one does at 130-135. Broner is big,has reach,superb defense,power in both hands,a good jab,fast feet, and hes dedicated and loves to out box his opponants. Please stop hyping these bums up. This guy will be easier for Broner to ko than Eloy punk azz was, because he squares up and has a high guard. You guys make me laugh postiing utube vids of bums koing bums.LOL Please stop Lol I have a mind to think this is actually Broner making this quote! I picked Broner based on his size and jab. I witnessed about as much of Broner as Uchiyama, and to be honest I think it could go either way. Broner was enormous compared to his last opponent, it looked ridiculous on T.V.. Uchiyama is an enormous step up for Broner in terms of ability.

I completely understand what I am seeing. I don't hate Broner, I think he is a good fighter with good potential, but I just believe that he isn't ready to beat the best just yet. He can move in any direction, but when he is pressuring, he moves only forward and backward. Sure, he showed some good lateral movement as he emulated Floyd's side step jump to get off left hooks, but other than that, he doesn't really show much more than that. I came to the conclusion about his lack of a true inside game because of how he was struggling with Rodriguez whenever he would get close. Before Broner landed that beautiful shot, he was in the corner, trying as hard as he could to keep Rodriguez back. I believe that Broner has good power, not 1 punch power, just good power similar to Andre Berto's is at Welterweight. He doesn't really have crazy speed similar to the Russell's, Donaire's, or Rigondeaux's, but its still pretty fast. And of course, yes, he is accurate, but it's because he has a lower work rate and picks his shots most of the time. The 2 fighters that I named are not bums either; they're both extremely solid fighters that lost close and questionable decisions to beltholders (Salgado and Aoh). Mendez-Broner would be competitive and I could see Broner winning, but not easily based on Mendez' style. Boschiero on the other hand is a fighter that is all wrong for Broner because Devis would get on the inside and smother Broner all night. If Broner is able to truly make the right improvements and tighten up on his current assets, I can see him being a good champion at Lightweight where he would probably have more opportunities. As far as power goes , just ask Eloy can Broner punch! His speed is very good, but its his timing and patients that seperates him from his peers. He is already the champion and the man to beat at 130. Roy Jones even said there is no one at 130 or 135 that can beat this kid. Those other 130 - 135 will be koed by Broner right now if they fought. You say the man is not ready, that makes me laugh. He has had over 300 amerture fights, and he is already defending his title with ko wins. While you think others are better, you need to remind the others that anybody CAN get it! MexiCANS, puertoriCANS, AfriCANS, etc etc.

Broner will move in any direction, or angle that he wants to. He has ko Power with speed in both hands, PLUS he IS ACCURATE. H e will ko any of those bums you named and you know it. Im not sure...I haven't seen much of Uchiyama but he is skilled from the little footage that I have seen of him. Id probably favor Broner now because I've seen more of him... Gotcha :wave:

Broner literally is about as poor of a poor man's Floyd Mayweather jr. as it gets. He cannot handle pressure well (Rodriguez' pressure was troubling him so much) and he doesn't have super good defense despite his love of Floyd and his style. Not only that, but unlike Floyd, he has absolutely no inside game, no head movement, moves in straight lines only (zero lateral movement; similar to current Floyd), and is unbelievably susceptible to right hands. Uchiyama has the strength, pressure, and power to take Broner apart and he would do just that. Looking good against Vicente Rodriguez and Eloy Perez is one thing, but looking good against 2 legitimate title holders in Solis and Salgado is another. I have no doubt that Uchiyama would take Broner apart and stop him late. So I should take away credit because Juanma KO'd Ponce in one and Broner barely won a decision? + Solis moved down to fight Gamboa and was back at the right weight vs Takashi. Na, you don't make any sense. I mentioned a past prime fighter and what Gamboa did to him, how to dispose of a past prime fighter in Solis. And you mention a top young fighter arguably in his prime. Get a better example, I know what you mean, but terrible example.

Gamboa already showed what to do with that version of Solis, not impressed. Broner beats him. That doesn't make any sense. So I should take away credit because Juanma KO'd Ponce in one and Broner barely won a decision? + Solis moved down to fight Gamboa and was back at the right weight vs Takashi.

wouldn't even be fair to vote because I don't know enough about Uchiyama, I heard a lot of great things about him as well as Ao that other fighter from Japan in that Division but because they mostly fight in Japan, it hard to give a honest opinion about them Akifumi Shimoda was living up to his hype during the Rico Ramos fight, he was DOMINATING RAMOS...but he may have gotten too ****y and left himself open to a big shot that turned the fight around so with them being #1 and #2 in the division, of course i would like to see that fight, but I doubt it will happen anytime soon

No clue. Need to see more of both. I agee with this to a degree. Knockouts of Perez and Solis really showed how good these guys are, but one more fight with a top 5 130 pounder would give better idea on where they stand.
