I was wondering who you guys think will be the next heavyweight champion. I think this group of boxers can defeat the Klitschkos within one year.http://www.8countnews.com/news/125/ARTICLE/5283/2012-03-08.html
Keep dreaming
Tyson Fury, Bermane Stiverne beating a Klitschko? Lay off the crack buddy.
lol This. TS shouldn't be writing articles.
Anthony Joshua looks legit but I wonder how his chin holds up.
Didn't look too good when Nistor stopped him and everytime Medzhidov landed clean he was stunned or wobbled. He has some potential though.

Yeh thats really all you can say at this stage. He has looked good but surely a good 3-4 years away yet. (I guess if the Klits retire, his time may come sooner)
how can so many people believe that Tyson Fury is the future of the heavyweight division. The guy is pathetic and spoon fed............Rockin':boxing:
No one does. Not anyone with a brain anyway. I can't wait till he's knocked out to get the hype job out the picture. Lets face it with all his reported mental health issues, the minute he suffers a heavy KO he'll be tucked away in his caravan for good. He's already got a loss on his record as far as I'm concerned.
David Price, Denis Boytsov, Dereck Chisora, Robert Helenius, Deontay Wilder, Seth Mitchell, Mike Perez, Malik Scott, Tyson Fury(though I think he's ****), Alexander Povetkin, Marco Huck, all has decent shots at being HW champions after the Klitschkos. I'm not sure any of them beat Wlad or Vitali right now though.
yup,. thats the line up and yup, I don't see any of them beating wlad right now ... but time is ticking for Vitali ... he'll either (A) retire in a year or two, (B) fight complete bums, or (C) lose
I don't see it in Seth Mitchell. I just don't get the hype.
He impressed me by knocking out Timur Ibragimov, which no one has ever done.
Seth has good speed and power for a heavyweight, and moves around well. The only thing he needs now is just to gradually improve his boxing skills. As far as I'm concerned they shouldn't rush him either....take it slow and steady and he can really blossom in my opinion.
I really like David Price. If he is groomed right he can be a force.
Former American football player Seth Mitchell has potential, but he also needs to be brought along properly so that he can develop the skills to go along with his athleticism.
I don't see it in Seth Mitchell. I just don't get the hype. Wilder, if he ever steps up, will have a huge advantage with his height and size alone. On top of that, he seems more like a boxer than Seth Mitchell does. I really hope Malik Scott stays active and gets his name out there. As far as HW's not named Klitschko, he might have the most raw skill in the ring.
Price, Perez, Wilder, and Scott, those are my HW hopes for the next 5 years. Also, check out Anthony Joshua, the British olympian. He looks legit.
I really hope and American breaks out at HW eventually again. We haven't had a really good and legit HW since Michael Moorer, Evander Holyfield, and Riddick Bowe.
Eddie Chambers, Chirs Arreola, Shannon Briggs, Hasim Rahman, Lamon Brewster, John Ruiz, get the f*k outta here. I guess Chris Byrd wasn't bad.

I feel like Povetkin, Helenius, Fury, and Mitchell are the most overrated right now. Povetkin and Helenius both last their fights with Huck and Chisora, and I just don't see the hype with Fury and Mitchell.
My hope at HW the next 5 years or so is with Mike Perez, Malik Scott, Deontay Wilder, and David Price. Hopefully they make the strides they need in their careers to be great fighters. My hope for after the next 5 years is Anthony Joshua, check him out. He looks pretty good.

The wild card in all those is Malik Scott. He has serious skill, is pretty slick, a nice quick jab, but he lacks power. That could be his downfall.
