What Do You Think Of Brandon Rios Now?

i dont believe rios is a bad seed. he's clearly lacked guidance. it seems that he's trying to do things better these days. doing an impersonation of freddie roach isn't exactly a classy move, but doing it in front of a camera was downright idiotic. hopefully he's grown up some. whatever the case, rios has the one of the most likable fighting temperaments in the game today. he's high on the list of fighters who i cant wait to see fight again. Exactly how I feel. Not one of us can really say we haven't made derogatory comments towards mental or physicall illnesses. Rios is just an immature kid who's an idiot for letting HBO film him doing it. I think he genuinely felt bad and he's just rough around the edges....Robert Garcia has already had a positive influence on him and hopefully in time that influence will grow even stronger. Rios has grown on me, I'm definitely a fan of the kid now...I also think he's really good. He's more skilled than he gets credit for, he's actually crafty on the inside where many prototypical Mexican brawlers aren't.

I like him as a fighter. A guy's out of the ring involvements are none of my business.

I lost respect for Rios after the Roach incident. It was pointless and unnecassary. But he apologised. Roach accepted. And clearly he never had bad intentions towards such an illness (his daughter is called Laila in tribute to Ali). He doesn't always come across as so, but he's a good guy.

I've always liked Rios, ever since he walked through nut shots with no complaining & made Peterson quit. Roach is a douche himself & likes to talk $h!t. I don't feel bad for him 1 bit. Rios shoulda took it just because Roach is sick? Disrespect answered with disrespect is what he got. no doubt...he trucked Peterson that night...I never heard too much about Bam before that night...but since then dude has stayed on my radar....and hell yea, Roach is always throwing shots and sneak dissing.....but what really took the cake was how Roach played the VICTIM role after he got his own medicine and how 24/7 gave it a some more shine....oh man!!! :lol1:

I could take him or leave him as a person, but he's a tremendous fighter and always fun to watch.

Rios does things like in that video so much that so much that the Roach thing was out of character if anything. He can make a bad first impression but hes shown himself to be a stand up guy.

Liked him even more when he dissed Roach.

I think it was a douche bag remark he made, but he apologized for it. I let it go along time ago. We all make mistakes and say things that we later regret.

That's very nice of Brandon Rios just to hang out with him, and then he also gave him and his famiily tickets for his fight but the girl in the red Hollister hoodie can get it though. :lol1: Brandon seems like a cool guy. He may cross the line sometimes but at least he knows when he has and mans up to it.

roach makes fun of people all the time, and he constantly contradicts himself why is that okay and brandon making a simple joke not? you are not wrong but I was personally offended because I have family members with Parkinson's and it can be rough. Like, Roach is handling it well but for some people it can make every day miserable

he's always been charitable....... despite acting like an asshole and kinda ghetto at times. You can tell the guy has a heart. no doubt....Bam is a good dude!!

Gamboa is my favorite fighter and I like Brandon Rios simply because he's a Mexican American from California like me. I hope they fight because it'll be a war. Rios is from Kansas, guess you can say Cali is his adopted home though.

I work with a lot of guys like Rios, real wise guys, we have fun at work but don't call each other on the weekends. Know what I mean?

I really like amateur boxing, so when a guy comes from a successful AM career, I get excited. I don't hate Rios, literally if I saw him outside of MSG after a fight I would tell him great fight and all that but if I saw Gamboa I would want to take a photo, autograph, whole 9 yards. Thats pretty much the difference there
