Since a fight between Mayweather and Martinez at 154 is looking closer and closer to reality every day, with Martinez saying he's going back to 154, and Mayweather's next fight being at 154. Expect more and more people to dismiss the fight as an average match up and expect them to bring up more names that Floyd should fight other than Martinez if he wants to "enhance his legacy". People saying at 154 the fight means nothing for Floyd's career, only at 160 it does. It means more at 160, but it means a lot at 154 to begin with. If Mayweather beat Martinez, people would say Martinez was old. Same thing they said about Mosley. Before the fight, it enhances his legacy. After the fight, we know the rest. I'd like to see Mayweather fight Martinez. At 154 would enhance his legacy. At 160, even more.

floyds legacy is non existent. he ducked at least 5 prime fighters and actually he doesnt even belong into the hall of fame. top 50 on the ATG list is where he belongs. name another fighter in the history of boxing who ducked so many fighters? who are these fighters he ducked?

He shouldnt retire but for me if he beats Martinez then yes. To me it wont matter if he loses a fight after that his legacy is set. But cannot have controversy must be a win in eyes of everyone.
