Tyson vs Douglass HBO video 1990 24/7

This was a great HW bout! Douglass took it too Tyson the whole fight. He never broke from his game plan. People can say the reff counted too slow in round 8 and yes Douglass was saved by the bell. The fact is the man took the hardest that Tyson had to offer that night fell down got up and kept fighting. Great fight I thought I would share it with you Rd 1 - 10-9 Douglass Rd 2 - 10-9 Douglass Rd 3 - 10-9 Douglass Rd 4 - 10-9 Douglass Rd 5 - 10-9 Douglass Rd 6 - 10-9 Tyson Rd 7 - 10-9 Tyson Rd 8 - 10-8 Tyson Up until the knock out I had the fight 76-75 Douglass. you could make a case for 77-75 and give Rd 8 a 10-9 score but I gave Tyson the 2 point edge for the knock down.

Mike did better in rounds 6 and 7. I gave those two rounds to Tyson. the right to the body and left upper cut scored big in those two rounds. 5-2 Douglass

in round 5 might have been the first time the world ever saw Mike wobbled by a 3 punch combo.

through round 4 I gave Buster all 4 rounds. He threw over 100 jabs in the first four rounds and landed at over 50%

watching this fight now and in round 4. So far I gave the first three rounds to Douglas. I am still in amazement of Arron Snowles advice in the corner. He really missed Kevin Rooney here and every where. I watched these two videos already.....The white dude in the corner telling 6-4-1 like Rooney would have done. Telling him to let his punches go.
