Locche was fragile as hell. If you watch any of the fights you canfind of him, you'll notice he never gets hit.. yet somehow has severe scar tissue and somehow would manage to swell. Dude use to get touched once and just swell or bleed.
he had a lot of fights and you have to include sparring so sure he may have some scar tissue

I know, I know.
I've seen pretty much everything there is available of Locche. He certainly was incredible defensively.
I'd do anything to get my hands on the Ortiz-Locche fight in it's entirety.
Ortiz touched him pretty good, apparently.

lol that Philly Shell is extremely tough to penetrate because it gives you openings you think are there but it is not, during the fight fans are Cheering but when you see the Replay and the punch stats, none of those punches are even landing and the ones that do are not clean or effective, it also makes the opponent upset...and that is why Ortiz threw that Headbutt because he couldn't land anything clean
Talk sense. You can't say that "none of thiose punches are even landing, and those that do are...."
But i know what you mean. However,at least 3 of those punches landed.

Actually, it doesn't give you any openings at all, but 1.
By blading yourself, your power hand (assuming you're orthodox) can only come "over" his shoulder to land on the chin, otherwise you're force to throw punches at his back and get penalized. Pretty much, you need a good jab and hook or you're not doing **** against the shell.
Anyone who had success against it usually hit floyd while floyd was in the process of punching or resetting... or just threw a retarded amount of ugly punches until he landed something.
I don't recall ever seeing a better defensive boxer than Locche. I remember seeing a few of his fights, and read about every one as it happened. He was a physical marvel in several ways, and never got the credit he was due. If he were around today he'd be globally enthroned, and nobody would be talking about MannP nor Mayweather.....which wouldn't thrill him at all.
He was that sort of person.

That's real talk right there.
This is what people don't realize about Floyd. Boxing is about not getting hit as a first priority. Make him miss and make him pay. Floyd is the KING of that.....GuNzZ

saw your sig and was like damnnnnnnnnnn forgot the defensive clinic he put on there
haha it was an awesome performance.
I remember coming in from a night out early so I could watch the fight. Regardless of the difference in weight, Floyd was out of the ring for god knows how many months and then to complete shut out JMM (my second favourite fighter) the way he did was incredible.
