Anyone else like Maidana's "Dont give a fuck attitude?"
I'm rooting for him against Alexander, I find it hard to hate the dude and always root for him because he's been a sacrificial lamb for the favorites and ends up beating the living shit out of them.
War Chino!:boxing:
Chino is the MAN! Damn I love some Chino lol, he is just a true wildman. He is the epitome of balls, heart, will and determination. Any of you that know boxing or have boxed know all too well that bodyshots hurt more and are more debilitating than headshots....and almost impossible to recover from in a fight. For Chino to take those shots from Khan and get dropped in round 1...and to get back up and go 12 and almost win, was unreal to watch. It was heart and will, that made him stand up, when his body wanted to give up and stay down. To keep getting up from those knockdowns against Ortiz and fight on and win...he is a true fighter. He is in the same vein as Corrales, as Gatti...two of my all time favorites. What they lack in ability, they make up for in courage, heart and will. He may not be the most skilled or that fast...but damn he is a warrior. Rios is in the same class as well, but still has more to prove to be mentioned in the same group as Gatti, Corrales and Chino.
WAR CHINO!!!!
Agree 100%

dont know how people say maidana fights easy opponents he has fought: kotelnik, khan, morales, cayo, ortiz, he was supposed to fight guerrero and now hes fighting alexander, that is a pretty solid opponent list
Some people here don't know who any of those guys are. That's why Maidana don't get his due props.
Maidana is a tough son of a bitch and he comes to fight, he don't fuck around! I admire that about him.
yeah i agree, he is the type of guy that doesn't need to talk any ****. he can say more with a hard look then any kind of trash talk. guy is old school

Calling him either a "G" or a "wigger" would be ridiculous, but I like his old school approach. This idea of swagger, implies some kind of arrogance, air of self-importance and I don't get that from Maidana I think he just carries himself like a man, commands respect

Maidana is one of the few fighters today that was brought up like the fighters of yesterday.
Gotta love & respect Maidana's attitude. The dude does not give a f** and gives it his all in every fight.
Hope he wins tonight just because I can't stand Devon (don't know why).
He was supposed to be an easy win for Ortiz and Khan. And look what happened to both.:lol1:
Thats Maidana's only "claim to glory", Ortiz is
But against Khan he lost.
I hate the way he is stereotyped in exactly the manner that you have just done. Since the Ortiz win he has matched himself and picked his route just as carefully as the other top guys in the division, difference being he has not won a big fight since Ortiz. I thought Morales beat him too, but it was close.
I like his style in the ring, I think his boxing IQ is also underrated, but overall he is hugely overrated on NSB, and like I said above he is more of a prima donna than he and his fans will have you believe, he looks at a guys style and only fights if he can exploit something about them, absolutely nothing wrong with that by the way, I just hate the way some of you guys paint him as this gunslinger type who will fight absolutely anybody, when that is not true.

Not sure how he's a sacrificial lamb but i like his toughness
The type of guy fighters have to beat to be called good
