Was Wlad worried about fighting Chisora so sent his big brother after him?
Wladamir canceled two fights with Chisora last year, one time just a couple days before they were due to fight, was he worried about the thread Chisora posed?
And then he chose to fight Mormeck when he could have made the fight happen and send his big brother after Dereck.
How do you think the Chisora vs Wlad fight would have went down, Wlad a lot more defensive but doesn't have half the chin or even the work rate, and Derick got through a lot, to the head and the body.
IMO Wlad would've broke down Chisora, stopping his wild attacks with his jab and eventually KO'd him.
Wlad also cancelled the fight with Chisora to fight against Haye. Then he chose to fight Mormeck, god knows why.
Chisora hadn't fought Helenius yet and his only "step up" he lost to Fury and looked like garbage. The only reason Volodymyr wanted to fight him was to prevent Haye from having anohter "British Showdown" like his disgrace he held with Harrison. It was strategy, a chess move, to force Haye and it worked.
Both the truth. So we can assume that Wlad would look alot more uncomfortable while it lasted but once Chisora eats a few stiff Wlad jabs he'd be far more reluctant to march forward thus giving Wlad the time to set and land the bigger shots.
Good points made I could see that happening
Just bringing back memories of the first Peters fight, I will say, Wlad handles pressure a lot worse than people say. Wlad's first defense against pressure is the clinch, and it's a scary one at that.
I think Chisora does better against Wlad than he did Vitali. Vitali, when he wasn' tclinching, was punching WHILE moving and putting right hands inbetween Chisoras work.
Wlad would have waited, as he likes to punch when he's set. he never punches while moving. This is why he is constantly clinching, because he has to reset the action and get comfortable before throwing. He also demands the center of the ring, he's not comfortable on the ropes. He will clinch, or pivot, and try to get the center of the ring back.
Chisora, assuming he could take Wlads punch, would definitely make wlad far more uncomfortable than he did Vitali. They haev entirely different styles and mindsets. Vitali can punch while off balance, moving, just without being "ready" to punch. Wlad? Show me 1 time wlad ever threw a punch when he wasn't completely set. Or show me ONE time he threw a punch WHILE moving back.
Yep I get what you're saying I think there would be some hard times in a fight with Chisora but I think when Wladimir lands which he would a lot more damage would be done

I have to agree with this.
Chisora would get crucified with Wlads Jab. I'm not sure he's smart enough to find a way to defy it.
Chisora's constant head movement and the right hook off it would have cause Wlad a lot of problems.
And we know all Wlad's inside game is clinch.
Yes, Wlads footwork is amazing. I love his body of work as of late. Peopel call him boring, I personally love watching him methodically break down his opponent. It's why I am a fan of Senchenko as well, Senchenko fights exactly like Wlad, just at 147 obviously.
But one thing I've always noticed about wlad, and it's always spelled trouble for him, is he's not truely comfortable unless he's set. Kind of like Chad Dawson. He won't punch 'with" his opponent, and he won't punch while moving, because he likes to reset himself before committing.
It's no wonder the only times he's truely been touched were times his opponent forced him to have to try to punch while moving his feet. Remember the Brock fight? Brock touched him more than I think anyone has in the last 5 years and it was only because brock would Peekaboo, and move in, hitting wlad when wlad would try to move.
i recommend watching that fight again. It shows wlads strengths and weaknesses more so than any other fight.

Wladimir is a great athlete and has excellent footwork along with having one of the best jabs in Boxing, by the the time Chisora manages to get in range Wladimir would have hit him with jabs, hooks, crosses and more

Wlad would punish him badly.
The Wlad jab would destroy Chisora.

umm he fought David Haye who is quicker + a more powerfull puncher, well punch (haymaker).
Chisora would get owned by Wlad, Wlad can actually move and has a strong punch.
Even a 40 year old Vitali with 1 arm won virtually every round.
IMO Wlad would've broke down Chisora, stopping his wild attacks with his jab and eventually KO'd him.

Good points Vitali beat him up and Wladimir would likely beat him up even more Chisora
Wlad was injured, remember? He had surgery and now is recovered.
He claimed he suffered a ab inury or back injury back in December 2010 2/3 days before the fight but was back playing golf within a couple of weeks.
What was wrong with him between Aprill and Setember last year.
I probably don't think Wlad avoided Chisora, because he took on Haye instead, which was the tougher fight (on paper at least) but Vitali does seem to take on a some opponents that may cause Wlad a bit more problems, because of his chin weakness.

I agree that Wlads jab would have caused alot of problems for Chisora but if Steve Smoger was the ref for that fight there might be a different outcome. IMO refs become to involved in both Wlad & Vitalys fights.
Didn't Wlad say he would fight Chisora, Haye and Adamek in a 4 month period, guess that was just talk.

Wlad jab would dominate, and he is much quicker on his feet than Vitali, so those wild shots wouldnt get anywhere near him.
I think Wlad stops him after peppering him with jabs, straight rights and hugs for 8 rounds - Strange prediction for a Wlad fight?
Wlad wasn't afraid of Chisora, but I bet that he is regretting that he did that now though (calling off the fights) seeing how Chisora acted to both him and his brother.
