Both are great, but Buffer's "Let's get ready to rumble" is just epic.

Buffer for sure. You know that when you hear Lennon, that Match will more then likely he as horrible as his voice.

Jimmy had his best moments during the two Tyson-Holyfield fights, but my favorite was his long night of job during the Hopkins-Trinidad fight, from the national anthem, the 9/11 tribute, introducing the former middleweight champions, since it was covered by HBO, Lennon had to announce "It's time for the main event of the evening." he even lost a tune of his voice at one point. Buffer was the more popular to many, It was in Tyson's days with HBO when I always here the familiar refrain "Iron Mike Tyson" announcing Mike the winner after the fight.

Both Lennon and Buffer are pure class but with Buffers "Lets get ready to rumble" is unbeatable, personally I think Buffer has a little attitude but it's forgivable. Lennon on the other hand seems like a really cool guy. Also Bruce buffer is the worst announcer ever.

I like "IT'S TIMMMMMMMMMMMME" by Bruce Buffer too. But for boxing Lennon and M Buffer are both great but like the HBO Showtime thread, I like everything about HBO better including "Let's get ready to rumble". Michael, Jimmy and Bruce are all great. I even like the white dude in dreads. I can't remember what his name is...

Buffer on the other hand comes across as slightly arrogant, self-important, and insolent (his tantrum when his mic in Mexico broke for Angulo/Kirkland showcased his). I'll never forget the time Lennon introduced Kessler/Frotch, his Danish accent was incredible! :boxing:

I like them both, but Buffers shtick has gotten stale to me.

Jimmy is as classy as it get's. Buffer though, when you hear that voice you know it's a big fight.This. I would say its a tie but Buffer gives that major fight feeling. i like lennon too. his voice has that old school feel to it.Yup

I like Jimmy when he says it's SHOWTIME and the lights turn on but Buffer is the man but I voted for Jimmy dare to be different.

Buffer is just a legend. He is on an universe thats untouchable for real lol. He makes every event into a biblical proportion kind of event. Lennon is just a good voice.
