It would be a shame to retire because he should want to avenge this lost that's coming from Bradley. But if there's no Bradley II, Mayweather, or Martinez, then he needs to call it quits.
die is a little harsh. more than likely they would just go away since they dont know what boxing is, they just know what manny pacquiao is.
I would bet that 90% of pac fans never watched a boxing match in their life before pac-de la hoya
Real talk....
He can retire now because he has accomplished everything and is already considered the greatest of all time. The media and the world recognize he did all he could to fight floyd and chased him for years and floyd just didnt want to fight. There's nothing more for Pac to prove or do.Dude, either ur extremely slow or retarded.
You admitting that it wasn't Floyd nor Manny avoiding the fight, would not make u look bad.
But the more u ignore the real life shyt going on rite in front of u, makes me question ur sanity.

agree 100%
pacquiao deserves a big thank you from everyone and a big turd on gayweather's doorstep

oh I know I have seen some of his "words of wisdom" and I am not one to post a lot but I had to get in on this. wow!

this is just so ignorant ...
okey pac got a lot of casual fans in the philippines as he is a household name, but majority of them have been following him since his challenge for sasakul...
and with those many additional fans, a lot of those will be hooked to boxing...
Pactards will disappear and boxing will be in a better state because these noob fanboys have out stayed their welcome in the sport.
However the boxing community will give Pac major flak for leaving the sport and not making the biggest fight in the past few decades vs Floyd Mayweather, the man that no matter who he fights from 140-154, won't be the underdog.
IMO, Pac should "retire" and return WITHOUT Bob Arum! We all know the fight would be made in minutes if that happened.
Well said...

by who? by you and the 13 other delusional fanatics that post here? he might be the greatest of 2010, and thats about it. accomplished everything? nnnnnah. beating "past it" de la hoya and mosley, and a zombie drained cotto is not quite accomplishing everything. if he retires after the bradley fight, his legacy is tarnished forever, and he will only be associated with floyd mayweather. the only ones that will still have wool pulled over their eyes are ignorant fools such as yourself, as well as his fellow countrymen. BOXING fans (not pacquiao fans) will see him for what he is, nothing more, nothing less. now stop sniffing glue and educate yourself or something. there was boxing before manny came big into the scene before 2008, ya know?
:bryce:
haha, but seriously, it'd be a bit disappointing since him and floyd didn't fight. that said someone posted up a video about it yesterday. sounds fake to me though, i think negotiations for mayweather/pacquiao in late 2012 will happen once floyd does his time and gets out.
Total shock and dissapointment. Not many fighters get mainstream media attention anymore and Manny is one of those guys that brings bunches of it to the sport.
