Ariza not to publish article on Arum

That isn't saying much. But people acting like some bum ass conditioning coach was gonna take down the Bobfather's Empire is hilarious No one said he is going to take it down he is just an insider who is (was) willing to dish the dirt on Arum's actions behind the scenes. I would say with how close Ariza is with Manny and Roach he has more than enough information.

If he would've kept quiet from the beginning and just advised Freddie about his plans, he'd never have to retract the article publicly. Arum/Top Rank must've phoned in a favor (or threat) to Freddie. Ariza being in the Pacquiao camp for the last 3-4 years has been privy to information that doesn't normally leak to the outside, I anticipated the article. I understand though... His loyalty lies with Freddie and co. and not the people calling him a ***** for not putting the info out. The amount of criticism Arum gets in the media is so little compared to others, when he is one of the worst offenders, it would've been good to see him be exposed.

My guess is that the article would have probably (indirectly) portrayed Pacquiao in a negative light, since it was probably going to talk about the ways Arum manipulates his fighters (I can't imagine what else this would be about). I remember his original tweet said something to the effect of "once this article is released no fighter will ever sign with Bob Arum". So it wouldn't be in Team Pac's best interest to release the article.
