KENNEDY MCKINNEY: “FLOYD IS TOO PICKY…THE ONLY FIGHT HE WON’T DO IS PACQUIAO”

“Floyd is too picky and he wants all the money. He won’t split the purse 50/50. Floyd wants 60/40 or 70/30. I mean, damn, give the people what they want! There is enough money for both of you guys to share it 50/50,” stated former super bantamweight champion Kennedy McKinney, who shares the opinion of many that Floyd Mayweather is now to blame in the latest round of botched talks for a mega-fight with Pacquiao. According to McKinney, although Mayweather is undefeated, he can’t give him credit as a great fighter if he doesn’t fight the best out there.
“What the **** is the problem? You are already rich and a millionaire, man. I mean, you don’t have to have all of the money. It’s a political situation. Me personally, I think Floyd…and I know the kid. I know his uncle’s Jeff and Roger and I know his dad. Floyd wants to retire undefeated and the only fight he won’t do is Pacquiao,” McKinney explained during a recent interview. “That’s the fight that would make him. That would make him a great fighter to beat Manny Pacquiao. Until he steps up to the plate and makes the fight, I can’t give him credit as a great fighter. He is a very good fighter, but fight the best out there. I didn’t back down from anybody.”
While it’s clear that McKinney thinks Mayweather needs Pacquiao more than he thinks, he also thinks Pacquiao needs Mayweather just as much. “I mean, Manny needs him too. Manny needs to step up to the plate,” he continued. “As far as the talk man, everybody is talking about that fight and I got into it too. They are the best fighters in boxing and they make all of the money, so I think they definitely should be fighting each other.”
Your wrong.......
" The difference is Floyd been at this point and Pac got at this point by latching onto Floyd."
Really? Where did you come up with this biased and unproven statement? Manny got to where he is by working hard and having no fear of who is in front of him. Floyd has nothing to do with it! They haven't even fought yet. How could you say that? It makes no sense what so ever. How about this; Floyd is using Manny's name to make himself look bigger than what he really is. He doesn't want to fight. Manny is the biggest draw in Boxing, now carry on and come back when you've looked in the mirror and admitted to yourself that you're a LIAR!
I can compare Floyd to Oscar because he has taken Oscar's place as the guy everyone wants to fight if nothing else for the payday! I understand that Oscar giving Floyd a shot propelled Floyd into superstardom. The difference is Floyd been at this point and Pac got at this point by latching onto Floyd. The challenge is not whether Floyd can beat manny but the other way around so that means Manny is the CHALLENGER!! Just because Floyd don't struggle against strong opponents doesn't mean he takes no risk like Oscar did, it just means Floyd's that much better! If your gonna talk about popularity then be honest with yourself; IF manny deserves 50/50 or even more, please tell me WHY in the world did Floyd and Oscar do 2.5 million ppv while Pac and Oscar did 1.4 million??? I have all the respect in the world for anyone who just wants someone to shut Floyd's big mouth but don't be delusional in comparing he and Pac!! He simply brings more to the table than Manny and believe it or not Bob Arum is the biggest roadblock, not Floyd rightfully asking for 60/40.
everyone knows the score, felon floyd loves money but what's most important is the number 0. he needs his legacy to read undefeated and why risk it at this stage of his career. he's scared to fight the best to get there and with that his rep will forever be diminished. he'll go down in history as the one who ducked money manny. his demands for 70/30 are all a ruse to not enter the ring with his worst nightmare.
tell us something we dont know.
as floyd says "if your the best, take the test"
so floyd, when are you going to take the test by fighting the best?
incase he didnt know, victor ortiz and miguel cotto aint the best.
pacquiao is just as bad aswell. the pair of em are clearly not that arsed about making the fight.
and this is why i wont be buying none of their 2nd rate fights.
so true. for someone who claims that pac is easy work, one-dimensional who only fights old, shot, past prime opponents, it is really disappointing that floyd keeps on throwing roadblock after roadblock for this fight not happening.
X2. Clear as day!!!!
What you are saying is a little different then what ha
Agree.....you can't ask for the bigger share when you need to offer free room, free buffet, and free limo ride just to sell your tickets off. Even with all these special offers it's not even sold out.
it's pac's fault for not calling pbf's bluff from the very beginning. pbf would have been exposed much earlier. it's been clear to me that pbf just pretended he wanted the fight. having a hardline stand on every freaking thing is not the picture of a guy who want to challenge himself and prove he's the best.
I agree Floyd is an idiot for asking for a 60/40 split before negotiation, because he should have waited until he gets them at the table. At the same time one can't just ignore Arum and Pac's lack of effort and all the spins and delays. This tells me Arum is trying to play chess and see where Floyd makes a wrong move in the media to capitalize. It's plain, since the last sequence of events surrounding the fight that Arum and Pac don't want it, and Floyd is just giving them loopholes upon loopholes to jump through. You guys need to wake up and see what's really happening. Whether you like Floyd or not is no reason to allow yourselves to look like tools in Manny's defense. They never wanted the fight from the beginning. They are toying with Floyd to let him show his hands thinking he's in a real deal of a game, but it's just a sham.
I can tell you one thing and it's that Floyd has patience, for i would have been fed up a long time ago, from the dates-game played by Freddie Roach back in 09 when they went on Fight Clottey. It's Floyd's greed why he's still concern about Pac and chasing him.
I am no big fan of either of them, but its clear to anyone that Floyd does not now and never has wanted to fight Manny, only thing that amazes me is that some people still cant see through his blatant ducking of Pac the last few years.

Yea the fight magically appears caused Floyd knew its the perfect time now. Watch for Floyd calling Marg out after his release from jail. Don't act like Floyd has been chasing cotto for years. Floyd got cotto now cause it'll be an easy fight and negotiation will be even easier since cotto is not with top rank but don't act like it was bobs fault the fight didn't happen years ago. By no mean am I backing bob up but lets face the truth bob didn't demand for ost did he?
Cotto's coming off of a beautiful performance. I just dont get some of you. Again Mayweather is fighting someone coming off a win. Even if these two divas are fighting over stipulations. The Bradley Manny pac and Floyd Cotto fights are great. As far as the scared of Pacman part, I would rather meet Manny at the end of a dark alley than Cotto. I'm not bias or no Flomo, but neither are scared of each other. It's just a swinging contest.

They said the same thing about Cotto, then *shazzam*, Miguel becomes a free agent and the fight with Mayweather magically appears.
P Williams is not Top Rank. S Martinez is willing to fight at 150 is not Top Rank.
Stop this foolishness, homie.

So we just got to weight another 3 years when Pacquiao has suffered two big defeats, slowed down and not looking as cut as he once did.
The sad thing is that your are probably right, because thats what it will probably take to get Floyd in the ring with Pacquiao.
Pac was always a good brawling fighter but he turned into a star because of the Mayweather saga! it wasn't until they started calling floyd's name that anyone fell in love with Manny. It's not that difficult to understand; one fighter never lost and is the bigger ppv draw, the other fighter is supposed to be the one to dethrone the king. It's so simple!!!!Number 2 has to give way to number 1!!! When oscar was the king and Floyd was the threat to Oscar , nobody said "come on Oscar, give the challenger 50/50". Number 2 at the time had to do what number 1 wanted to make the biggest fight so if these people weren't haters, they would apply pressure on Manny to accept 60/40 and make the fight!!
a boring defensive fighter doesn't even deserve 30 when it comes to pacman's popularity. not even close. pbf came out of retirement to prove nothing. he came out to settle his money problems. he was content fighting exhibition matches. he's an established ducker. fans knew that before he came back. he pretended to want to fight pac to become big again. roach chased him like a madman, which was a mistake.
easy fight easy money. take the test pac! i want $100 million! i want 70/30! no training in philippines! 14 days cut-off is off the table! no test, no fight! may 5, cinco de mayo, take it or leave it! 50/50 is off the table!
man, when are you kids going to understand that pbf wants none of pac?

At that time, Oscar was always considered the biggest draw even when he looses... So don't ever compare Floyd to Oscar coz Floyd knows once he looses that zero, his money-making capability will go down by more than 60%, or even more...
You agree???
Wait! So you agree as well? He doesn't want to fight him! IS he afraid he could lose? Because for everyone saying how easy a fight it would be for Floyd, I highly disagree. PAC is a warrior and he comes to get it! The fact that people think this will only motivate him even more. Look for a very impressive performance against Bradley! He will stop him.
