Nobody is expecting Mayweather to stop Cotto. It's a possibility, but the sure bet is a lopsided UD win by Floyd.

well, manny beat the sht out of cotto so, if mayweather can,t repeat pac,s performance then what will people say??? that,s the question period....

Floyd isn't a big KO guy, so I don't care one way or the other if he stops him. If Floyd beats him down 10 rounds to 2 or 11 rounds to 1, and lands all night, it's good for me. He doesn't need to stop him, that's just ridiculous that people think that.
It was important for Floyd to get Cotto in his resume while he's still good.
May-Cotto at 154 and Pac-Bradley are good fights.

Dont forget to mention that Pac fought Cotto at a catchweight of 145 and only wanted to fight him in a rematch at 147- Cotto is at 154 lb, at least floyd is fighting him at his weight just like he did Oscar, but what weight did Pac fight Oscar as well, yep u guessed it, 145lbs. Only the stupid people cant understand how much of a difference weight can change a fight. Manny looks to drain all his fighters and weaken them
Floyd is not a puncher or even a brawler, he will only stop Cotto by accumulation and Cotto will get on his pony if he's getting punished anyway.
I'm expecting Floyd to win a wide UD as well, but I don't believe a stoppage is that far-fetched.
What about knockdowns?
floyd stoppping cotto ?
Pac cant stop Cotto at 154 , he wont even fight him lol , Pac cant stop ODH at 154 either , Pac drains then to stop them , you need to look in your own bag yard before you throw your rubbish , I dont expect Floyd to stop him as the weight will make lot of difference to Cottos resilience , but he might .
lol at fans trying to put Pressure on Mayweather to "STOP COTTO" hahaha :nonono:
so basically your saying "I KNOW MAYWEATHER IS GOING TO WIN...BUT I BET YOU HE CAN'T STOP COTTO" lol this forum is funny
yep this forum is full of dickriders and casual fans that don't really know **** about the sport

I can't imagine anyone besides the casual fans expecting Floyd to stop Cotto. Floyd will easily outbox Cotto but not overpower him. Plus Floyd is known for his defensive and patient style, not power punching or brawler style. If Floyd does stop Cotto at 154 it would be quite a surprise to me. Nonetheless,a UD speaks to me on the same volume as a 12th round stoppage by Pacquiao.
I don't expect him to ko Cotto. Floyd is moving up in weight. The only people that koed Cotto was brick hands margarito and the steroid man at a catchweight
