This hypocrisy is hillarious! What happened to the days of "why doesnt Pac face a young black hungry lion in his prime like Bradley and stop picking on old, shot, weight drained fighters"? Now all of a sudden since this fight is all but signed, what we hear is "Bradley sucks and Pac is going to steamroll him" "Who has Bradley beat" "Why is Pac fighting a 140lber" Etc.. I personally believe that although Bradley is an excellent fighter, he comes in with wild winging punches and its going to cost him in this fight. Bradley will have his moments, but Pac will catch him on the way in and KO him. Now on to Miguel Cotto. When Cotto/Pacquiao was signed, the haters came out in abundance and spoke about how Pac was fighting a guy who's shot, just got beaten down with Plaster, and is a shell of his former self. Not to mention that although Cotto at the time was a WW fighter and in his previous bout against Clottey came in on weigh in day just 1lb heavier than he did for Pac, they accused Pac of SEVERELY weight draining Cotto in order to gain an advantage. Lets also not forget that during the post fight interview when asked if the weight effected him in anyway, Cotto replied with "no I felt good. The problem wasnt the weight, it was Pacquiao's speed. I didnt know where the punches were coming from". Fast forward 2.5yrs and now Cotto is scheduled to fight Mayweather. Listening to the diehard Floydboyz is hillarious. All of a sudden we hear how Cotto miraculously went from being shot to damn near prime again! I've heard how he is practically reborn and a new fighter under his new coach. While I agree that Cotto does indeed look like he's back on the right track, lets take a look at who he's fought since getting pummeled by Pac. The one-legged Jew Yuri Foreman and even in that fight Yuri was giving Cotto fits up until he blew out his knee. Shot to **** Mayorga. One-eyed Willy Margarito. I give Cotto props for redeeming himself against Marg, but its hard to give too much credit for the other 2. The truth is Floyd needed a marketable opponent for May 5th and Cotto fit the bill. Fighting at 154 makes it look good on paper but we all know that no matter what the weight, Cotto will be too slow for Floyd. I like Cotto and will always be a fan, but he has about a 10% chance of winning this fight. So lets stop making this more than what it is. It will be entertaining but Cotto will get outclassed over 12rnds. I hope I'm wrong. Thoughts?

The issue here is the weight. Between Cotto and Bradley, Cotto is the more valuable win only because he is a jrMW champion. Bradley, while being a very good boxer himself, is a step down in weight. Regardless of how well Bradley boxes, weight counts in boxing. If it didn't, it wouldn't have been so important for Pacquiao to demand weight stipulations during his campaign at WW. Cotto as a boxer isn't being touted as a threat. The fact that Miguel has campaigned as a jrMW, won a title and is now a natural 154lb'er is what makes him a credible opponent, but there have been too many questions raised about his stock to count him as a true threat aside from simply having a puncher's chance. Bradley, who has never been labeled elite or a phenomenal talent, is a step down because he is a jrWW in a time where Pacquiao is supposed to be dominating much bigger men. Tim's credible because he is #1 in his division and is undefeated, but being that he's "soooooo small" ... an excuse that Team Pacquiao has presented before every WW match in case he lost ... the value of such a win would be significantly lower than a win over a jrMW. As I said, its all about the size and weight. Mayweather is fighting Cotto without stipulating that he cut weight. That alone makes his possible win over Cotto greater than Pacquiao's own. A champion should NOT have to weaken his opponent BEFORE a match in order to gain an advantage. lol! you need to research first before posting.. bcoz if you think that bradley is step down bcoz he is a jrmw is wrong! go look at his boxrec..bradley has fought at welterweight(about 10 fights or about 33% of all his fight) since 04 and his debut as a professional boxer is also at welterweight.

Just because Pac fighting at heavyweight they thought he is a legit welterweight. LOL! Look how stupid these flomos are. Pac most of his fights above 122, between 126-150 most of his opponents weighed in heavier than him during the fight even in Marquez trilogy.

Cotto is coming off the best win of his career. He's riding a major high. But the only thing that makes the fight interesting is the weight class. Bradley is ass who has never even fought a great opponent. Seriously, what is his best win? Holt?

I think both are still very good fighters and both are the BEST in their Current Division (140 and 154) what a lot of people are doing on this forum is trying to downplay each fighter so they can take away from Pacquiao and Mayweather if they win how ever some Pacquiao fans look stupid right now trying to pump up/hype up Bradley when a few months ago most of you was LAUGHING at the thought of Bradley getting a shot at Manny As I posted in another Topic...while on Paper Cotto vs Mayweather is more appealing...I think Bradley has a much better shot at an upset then Cotto does

Well, Bradley been sucked!!! His name was only mentioned before by me because he was a base for my not falling for Pacquiao and Arum's claims of truly wanting to fight Floyd Mayweather. I said that he won't even fight Bradley or Berto (who was undefeated at that time) so why would I believe he's going to go straight to the top and challenge Floyd? Bradley isn't one of the best fighters in the world but he doesn have some intangibles that may cause Manny some trouble. Manny doesn't do well against fighters who have mobility. He won his fight with Devon Alexander with his head. He won his fight (which was changed to a NC) with Campbell with his head. He wins most of his fights with his head. He looks like he could be slipping a shot, but he'd be lunging his head in the opponent's direction. He's a headbutt king. They used the cut Pac suffered as an excuse to DUCK PBF, only to turn around and select a fighter who is notorious for his headbutts. SMDH. As far as Cotto is concerned, he has been on a winning streak and his last fight ended with a TKO. He's a champion at 154 and he beat the fighter Pacquiao DUCKED for the title he has now. Pac's punk A55 sat in the stands and watched Cotto come away with the title. He DUCKED Foreman because Foreman was "too tall", only to fight a fighter who's just as tall for a vacant title. He could've fought Foreman and won a legit title. Foreman obviously wasn't "too tall"....he was too skilled and his mobility would have frustrated the Pacman. Any fighter with a good set of wheels and a sound boxing IQ can defeat this P4P poser. That's why he has his team keep him away from these types of fights. This time he's forced to do it and I'm sure he's dreading it. Yup... sounds like one of the posts people are looking for.

Are u seriously saying that you have not read not 1 post post of someone claiming Cotto was shot when Pac faced him and now saying that Cotto is a different fighter, has rebounded from his beatings, and is a good opponent for Floyd? Please stop! I'm not going to dig thru everyone's post history, but if you're a frequent poster here like I am, I'm sure you've seen the same things I have seen.

Neither guy suck. Which one would have better success against Floyd or opposes the most risk right now? IMO both Floyd and Manny picked the best available foes available besides themselves. Cotto is more established and has fought more top contenders and Bradley is a little lesser but is an excellent fighter that is younger and fantastic conditioning. Who ever says that either guy sucks doesn't know boxing
