I get the feeling he's gonna be rather calm and respectful, just from what I can recall from his behavior towards JMM (i dont remember too well, I may be mistaken). I dunno, maybe its something about non english speakers that makes him ease off on the thrash talk. So far, he's had nothing but praise for Cotto, although I'm aware its rather hard to sell a fight if you say your opponent is garbage from the get go.
Anyways, do you think he'll go for the thrash talk, and if so, what ammo will he use?
Poosy boy is not gonna dare play tough guy he knows cotto can knock him out on a press conference. I expect Cotto to bully him all the way to the ring and after.
That's a good idea! I'd like to see Cotto flip the script and throw Mayweather off, bully him the second they meet.
Good enough to get a message across, not good enough for functional thrash talk though.
FMJ is a very defensive boxing personality, Cotto will say something like he 'doesn't like his flashy style or throwing money around' and that will set Mayweather off.
I'm looking forward to this.
Someone will have already pointed this out, but Cotto speaks good English.
Mayweather will act the twat because Cotto is a genuine threat, whereas a blown up JMM who Mayweather intended on stiffing with the weight, was not.

Where do you guys come up with this crap? what makes you think a professional boxer would be scared of another grown man? Hell, I work in an office and fear no man. I just don't get the logic. You just make sure you go in before the street lights come on.
Are you 12? It has nothing to do with fear and everything to do with respect.
Cotto's a grown man his own size. No way he grabs Cotto around the throat or gets in his face like he wants to kiss him like he did with Marquez.

He'll do his best to make cotto look like an undefeated fighter. He'll say 1 guy has plaster wraps and that he was weight drained in his 2nd loss. If cotto says something that rubs floyd wrong, he'll probably call him a quitter and a runner when faced with pressure.
I'm pretty sure he'll also mention how easy the fight was to get made with arum out of the picture, and how he's gonna show the world he never had a reason to duck cotto.

Leave it to a certain fanbase to bring homosexuality into the conversation, when it isn't needed... smfh. another fanboy in auto defense akin to check hook counter nyahahahaha if you dont want any of this tell fiddy to get a hold of themselves and stop kissing when floyd go up the ring nyahahaha
His Uncle Trainer Roger Mayweather already said a lot of Sh*t about Cotto, and even his own biological Father Mayweather SR has already JUDGED Cotto, always saying that his son gonna win!
Just mentioned the name Pacman on how he disfigured the face of Cotto and
ask him why on earth he is fighting a Pacman' left over;
and see what Mayweather Jr will react...
Anyway, win or lose, after COTTO, its gonna GOTO...
GOTO jail...

Floyd's level of trash talk depends on the level hype a guy has/level of disrespect the media shows him.
It mite sound like trash talk but, is it really trash talk if Floyd does what he said he was gonna do?
Sounds more like people need to admit he's that good and the only chance any fight in and around his weight class will always be reduced to only having a punchers chance.
floyd may grab cotto's crotch instead of the neck like what he did to ortiz, and look at fiddy then to the fatso friend of cotto in a taunting way, with his tongue hanging out making both jealous yeah prolly that during stare down -face off.

From a business standpoint, he'd probably want to trash talk a lot. But he doesn't really have much dirt on Cotto tbh. Either way, any 24/7 with Mayweather is entertaining
Floyd only talked trash to Mosley cuz it was personal and because he wanted to get in his head...Mosley was his first legitamate ww...once he realized he can take those guys on, he became cool, calm, and confident with Ortiz and Im assuming with everyone else
So what was De La Hoya, a Flyweight??
There's not much he can say, really. If anything, the only angle he has is to talk up the fight as being better than the Pacquiao-Cotto fight because there's no catch-weight. So, unless there's some drama within the Mayweather camp like in the 1st episode of 24/7 May-Ortiz, there won't be no trash talking from Floyd. Which is really disappointing.
