You predicted that Vazquez would KO Donaire but you were wrong about that.
An Abner Donaire matchup wouldn't be easy for either fighter. Abner is durable and would give Donaire a run for his money. Donaire has the power and skills to outbox and ko Mares.
If that is true and Huey predicted that Vasquez would KO donaire then I'm afraid "mrs el revolucìon" you don't know shît about boxing!!!
No saying silly stuff like Oscar is an ATG, Marg in his prime was garbage, then it gets laughable to Maidana DESTROYS Marg, the nonsense you spew about Pac, Rios has fought nothing but bums except for Anthony Peterson, Rigo EASILY beats Donaire.
Just a bunch of trolling comments/observation. I'm not a big fan of Donaire. But, I'm not a troll.
good point he is a troll with the nonsense he posts. he also makes threads of sex with his cousin.
A troll? So making comments/observations makes you a troll? This is a boxing forum, not a Donaire fan page.

I would wait till they actually become good. Rigo, Russell, and Garcia as good, skilled, and talented they might. They really haven't proven themselves against top fighters.
but jro...
rigo bombed out ramos, bro
aka freddie murcury
no way donaire does that to a monster like rico ramos
BSCENERS KNOW BOXING
donaire is ducking everyone and sucks

True. I just wish Nonito had fought Mares and Moreno at 118, or maybe even Agbeko before Abner beat him. Nonito has a ton of good fights to make with guys who are still at 118 who could move up, 122, and 126.
I really hope it turns into a 4 guy tourny or something, with Nonito-Rigo-Arce-Nishioka. Those all would be good fights.
I just didn't understand all the talk from people who were saying "Give Donaire a break. He beat a very good fighter handily and convincingly", because WV2 isn't really all that good at all. Vazquez and Rico Ramos are about the same in reality. WV2's first step up in competition at all was against a tiny Jorge Arce, and he got TKO'd. Yes, Donaire should have steam rolled him, but his hand was busted, so that probably did play a part for sure. But, it's not like beating WV2 means anything. Some people on NSB claim that all Ortiz did in beating Andre Berto the first time was beat an overrated hype-job.......but if Berto is an overrated hype-job, than what the f**k is Wilfredo Vazquez Jr??????
I just think some people on here give Nonito a huge pass on stuff and Nonito is at the stage in his career where he's defining his legacy and should be held to the highest of standards, like the other P4P people are.
Well I am of course assumming that Russell and Garcia turn out to be really good fighters. If they do and Nonito ends up beating them at 126, as well as Rigondeaux, Mares, and Moreno, it wold greatly effect his legacy in a good way, wouldn't you say???

How does beating Gary Russell Jr, Garcia, or Rigo proves his legacy?

Pretty funny that Donaire is the best without fighting Mares, Moreno, Agbeko, Perez and now in his new weight class already made it clear he doesn't want Rigondeaux and will probably fight Arce, Rafael Marquez, fighters like that.
Donaire said he would want Nishioka next i think. But I think arum said that he wants arce next for donaire...which I'm not a big fan of, but I can understand now if donaire wants to take his time at 122.
True that.
Nonito is a great fighter, but I don't think he should be ahead of Andre Ward on the P4P list, sorry. Nonito has done great climbing weight classes, but Andre dominated everyone at Super Middleweight. And the person people say he's reluctant to fight is Lucian Bute, who hasn't fought anybody.
Andre Ward should be #3-4 P4P and Nonito should be around 6-7 in my book. Yes, he won the WBO Super Bantamweight title, his 4th title in as many divisions. But, he won it from a decent fighter, who made his first step up in competition against a tiny Jorge Arce last year and got TKO'd. Vazquez was a decent win, nothing more, don't let anyone fool you. The only two real fighters and legit fights he's had, he got TKO'd by Arce and lost what should have been a comfortable UD to Donaire, but was a SD for some reason.
Nonito is great, but he will prove his legacy once he fights Rigondeaux, Mares, Moreno, Garcia, Russell Jr, Gamboa, etc.

After the fight, they cut off Nonito's gloves, and his wraps were soaked in blood on his left hand, also i think his right hand was hurt as he wasn't using it hardly at all near the end of the fight.
That most likely played a roll for sure, like how Floyd's shoulder did against Castillo in the first fight.
Nonito is a great fighter and we'll know what his legacy is once he fights Rigondeaux, Mares, Moreno, Gamboa, Garcia, Russell Jr, Lopez, etc.
He's not unbeatable, that's for damn sure.

Donaire isn't afraid of Mares at all and he still beats him in my opinion. Though, if Vazquez can tag Donaire, and Nonito's D isn't all that good really at all, Mares can tag him as well. And Mares hits with pretty good power as well, though it may not carry to 122.
If Mares isn't jumping up to 122, he should fight Anselmo Moreno in the summer.
Doanire still beats Abner is my opinion and I am an Abner fan.
Still will stand by the fact that Rigo would beat Nonito, but they won't fight him.
I had Nonito winning 117-110 last night, but the fact that Vazquez was able to hit him flush several times the last 7-8 rounds of the fight, shows that Donaire does not have that stiff of a defense. He gets hit with the jab at will and while his skills were enough to beat a decent Vazquez, he wouldn't beat Rigo. Sorry.

Not easy, but extremely competitive. Mares is better than anyone Donaire has fought. Rather see Mares than Rigo even if Mares isn't ranked at 122. There isn't that big of a difference between the two weight classes so Mares might as well be up there.
your crazy if you think mares is better than montiel...he aint even better than darchinyan...yeah, he beat him but that fight could've gone either way...the only good clear win for abner right now is agbecko.....thats it...mares is not in the same class as nonito...now , if youre talking about a vasquez vs mares, then that'd be a competitive fight...
I saw everything I needed to see last night. Abner beats Donaire easy!
