neither chavez or donaire impressed me tonight, it was a rather lackluster showing for two of boxing brightest young stars... I think Rubio could have put in way more effort, and all chavez was doing was trying to impose his physical size by shoving rubio back but wasn't doing sh1t with his fists... rubio fought like a man who was paid to be a sparring partner, period. Donaire-Vazquez was much more entertaining, but ND lost a little credibility with me tonight because this his second consecutive fight where he looked to be entirely vulnerable and very lets say... readable, as in I believe there to be a blue-print on how to beat him After tonight Donaire does not fair well against Rigo, Gamboa OR EVEN Juanma Lopez in my book...

Tell me what do you not understand that that is the way rubio fights every single fight win lose or draw. He doesnt have the talent to change it up it is that fcking simple. He went in there thinking he could hurt chavez but that wasnt the case. he didn't do anything from the start man. if he would've landed some serious bombs in the first couple rounds, the way chavez's eye looked at the end of the fight would've been in the middle rounds. he looked like he showed up last minute with no gameplan. if he was truly motivated to win, this would've been a much more competitive fight. believe what you want man, but tonight i didn't see a rubio that wanted to win.
