Wll Bob Arum work with Cotto again? Will he hate on Cotto-Mayweather?

Article on the first page with quotes from Arum saying hes happy for Miguel. Sorry to disappoint... He was initially respectful to De La Hoya as well. Give him a few years of Cotto making millions and watch his hatred simmer. Green K worthy post. Thanks :)

According to Todd Debouf, he's happy for Cotto and that Cotto has paved the way for him to get the payday he'll get with Floyd and that they will work together in the future.

I posted quotes from Arum and DuBoeff earlier. They're from The Ring and ESPN articles. They both acknowledged that it was a great deal and actually advised Cotto to take it. They wished him well and had nothing but good things to say. Arum had nice things to say about PBF when he first bought out his contract as well and we see now where that relationship stands.

Arum will let Cotto take a beating and get more miles on him then have more leverage with Cotto coming off of a one sided beatdown to serve him up to Chavez Jr.

He will never admit it, but I bet he is salty as f*ck. Cotto was one of his top moneymakers. and it certainly doesn't help that he is fighting Floyd

I see no one at Top Rank that Cotto should fight, but I think the split was amicable.

If toprank told cotto it was a good deal I truly believe they don't want the Floyd fight. How the hell they can get the fight with cotto done with no problems and here we are still waiting for the mega fight after 2-3 years. Bob will sh1t on cotto. Only thing I see Floyd saying is see I told it was toprank that didnt want to make the fight.

i guess cotto-chicken floyd fight is more salable a than chicken floyd-canelo... the purse is also good for cotto, so why not?

Arum will shutup because he is a meticulous businessman. Cotto was not gonna get all of that fighting Pacquiao, so Bob will shutup and let Cotto come home again when the time is right.

Unless Cotto signs a long term contract with Golden Boy, then I don't think so. Is Cotto an independent promoting himself? If so, then Arum could still work with Cotto somehow in the future.

I think that when Mayweather starts running his mouth Arum will say something that will anger Cotto for sure!

That is right now though, a couple months of Floyd running his mouth could easily get Arum's blood boiling, which could easily lead to him saying something that angers Cotto, then that becomes a tit for tat sort of thing. If Arum just pays attention to his business they should stay cool.
