Good fight - I'd buy it.

Cotto is p4p one of the strongest fighters in the sport. I don't know why people don't see that. I do lean towards Ortiz in this one but am not sure at all. You just don't know what you're gonna get with that kid. Converted southpaw vs converted orthodox fighter. Would be very interesting. Cotto is very strong, he's clearly stronger than margarito. Cotto's problems are with his stamina, he cannot fight an effective 12 rd fight.

Cotto makes him quit, Ortiz is mentally soft. JMO

I'll take it. This is the fight that makes sense. Lets say 150 or 151. Whatever. They will both weigh about the same on fight night. Great fight. imho their are lot of other fighters that cotto should fight, including pac, mayweather and martinez and I dont see why cotto would go down to 150/151 for Ortiz? cotto by KO

i agree. it'll be like the first margarito fight all over except Ortiz is much faster than Margarito. But he gets hit almost as easily and doesn't have even half the chin margarito does. so what now?

Cotto is not very good at boxing...he doesn't have the skills and stanima to keep it up. What??? Cotto is a very good boxer. he does have the skills, but i agree, needs to work on conserving his energy levels somehow.

Ortiz is still a bit green, but improving. He's too excitable, and loses concentration and composure. Cotto's experience and concentration are key and will help him with a fairly comfortable win. He's also still improving, i imagine. I wouldn't mind seeing this fight. Ortiz brings it. I want Cotto to fight Canello, and if Jr. can find his balls, to fight Cotto.

Good Fight. It's Really A Toss Up...Cotto Is The Better Boxer, But Gets Hit Alot By Fighters Who Apply Pressure...It Would Also Give Ortiz A Chance To Prove That He Can Deal With A Boxer After The Mayweather Fight. I'd Watch.

This fight should happen. It would be a great fight but I think Cotto takes it.
