No, Cotto-Ortiz. It shockingly makes sense.
I...don't know about that. Ortiz (who is 1-1 at welterweight) coming off of a KO loss against Mayweather to go against Miguel Cotto (who hasn't fought at welterweight in more than two years)?
Cotto can't make that weight anymore, I don't care how good his opposition at welterweight was or how good he looked there. Welterweight Cotto is a thing of the past.
No offense, savor. I usually agree with your posts but that, to me, doesn't make sense.
I'd take Ortiz/Khan which is more likely. Khan needs a rebound and Ortiz needs an opponent.
Realistically, Khan's not coming in on a 2 weeks' notice, but it'd be a hell of a treat if it happened.
i was using PPV buys as an example of how successful the fight is, i have no ****ing clue how many seats the MGM holds
go be a google warrior and look it up for me, sonI believe it's 17,500 and I don't need google son
We'll see who's right in the next week or so. If I'm wrong I'll have no problem with it.
PPV buys inject money into the VEGAS ECONOMY?

Dude, Floyd/Ortiz II doesn't inject any ****ing money into the Vegas economy. That fight sells on Floyd alone which will be sub 900k buys. But yeah he's mexican. gg bro.
unreal

Give Ortiz a tune up on the original date, then throw the Berto rematch on the Mayweather undercard! That would be good as f*ck. It could be a double header, or even a triple header if Mayweather and Canelo don't fight eachother (I'm crossing my fingers for that. I'd even prefer Canelo-Mosley).
maybe he slipped in the shower like jab judah prior to the shane mosley fight and "injured" his hand.Yeah the shower at the Golden Boy offices after a meeting with Schaefer
Berto stepped aside before. Circumstances were different, but he stepped aside and Mosley got the fight Mayweather.
@stevemaxboxing RT @InSwiderBox: Jan 2010: Mosley Berto falls out as Mayweather needs a fight to "up" Pacquiao... Jan 2012: Ortiz Berto falls out... Just Wondering

I'm not the only one who thinks that is what's going on...

Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn
Just spoke to Richard Schaefer who confirmed that Berto is in the hospital and having an MRI on his arm. #boxing
He's not Berto's promoter though. Interesting that they are making sure to get the word out that it is legit.
