Here's an interesting official Nevada State Athletic Commission document shared by our friends at The Boxing Truth Radio that breaks down Manny Pacquiao's purses over the years from his 2001 fight against Ledwaba where he earned $40,000 up to his fight against Shane Mosley where he earned $6 million.
Surprisingly the figures indicate that Pacquiao has yet to earn more than $8 million for any one of his fights held in Sin City as far as his purse is concerned. This data does not include his share of Pay-Per-View earnings and other forms of revenue.

It's my understanding that a certain percentage of the guarantee has to be paid on fight night with the remainder of the purse to be paid out after. There was an article on this. If I find it I'll post it.
No...Floyd gets his full purse reported to the NSAC on fight night. The only time I have seen this is with Pacquiao. In fact I googled what you said about the percentage having to be paid on fight night, and was linked to this thread, to none other than your post. With no other evidence that what you said is fact. Don't end up like D4thincarnation, looking for links that don't exist.

its cause arum and koncz took a portion to pay his taxes doe.......oh wait
Hopefully Arum was not lying about this $8million dollar maneuver. He claims to give a real copy to the IRS, but events taking place now seem like he hasn't done so.
Can someone answer this question..........
Lets say you are a fighter, and you make $40 million a fight right.
The world wants you to fight a guy who only makes about $ 20 million a fight.( after ppv)
Your purse for this big fight is around $50 million (only $ 10million more than you make)
Your opponent wants 50/50 so his purse is also $ 50 million( $30million more than he makes)
Keep in mind your opponent is also suing you for millions.
You can make another $ 40 million purse fighting Cotto.
Your opponent can make $ 20 million fighting Bradley.
Doesn't it seem like your opponent is gonna come out of the negotiations way better than you?
I mean.....your opponent will make $30 million more than he ever has while you will only make $10 million more than you ever have.
Plus once he wins his lawsuit against you, your opponent will get a few more million.
So What is in it for you to fight this guy with a 50/50 split + a lawsuit?
Seems to me like you could continue to make your $40 million a fight and say screw the other guy.
He needs you more than you need him in my eyes.
I am sure is doing alright on the backend, but really when Arum guerentees he will make 20-25 million that is not the floor it is the max or about the max which is why he makes so little on the front end.
Most fighters the "guerentee" is the minimum you can make, with Arum and Manny it seems to be working the opposite way. Manny is still clearing a lot but he certainly isn't maximizing.
A guaranteed purse is a guaranteed purse. It's not going to get stashed away and given to some dummy promotional company. The rest of the money has to be accounted for. What you can do is overwrite your costs & expenses (like any smart person does anyway, like I'm sure GBP does) but that's really for tax purposes. Regardless, Manny Pacquiao's guarantee is alarmingly low. Forget VisionQwest, call up PwC and find out what the f*ck is going on. I don't care how much the PPV sold, he's not getting more than $15m after all that's counted, if that. Especially if he's taking out advances to buy Porsche's and stuff. I'm sure Arum has top notch accountants to work the system. But looking at these numbers it's clear, he's not going through that trouble to give that money to Pacquiao.
I think there is enough money on the table for a 50/50 split. I think Team Mayweather should make their demand public or accept a 50/50 split-Pac said he'd take less, sure...but that could be a 51-49 split too-Kinda like how Pac did Hatton with his little 52-48 ****.
Unless you're getting a piece of the pie, why would you give a **** about how much he makes per fight?it's probably the same reason you read, then responded.
You give a F! Only when it "benefits" Manny, but how does it feel to see facts that kill the dream ur being sold?
I have enough of an insight on how Arum works to know that Pacquiao didn't make 6 million against Marquez.
So break it down or shut up. Simple. I can guess Pacquiao makes more than what's reported too and we'll both have no actual clue unless we prove it.

Lol, alright we have an insider here.
Tell us how much did Pacquiao really get then, if it wasn't what the NSAC is saying.
You're brutally gullible towards Arum if you think he's actually gonna give him $20mill.
The NSAC reports show that out of the $25Mill Floyd was guaranteed, he got $18Mill, cause of the money he had to share. That's Floyd, his own boss, giving up that much. Now picture Pacquiao, who has to give a cut to every one and there grandmothers. It shows Pacquiao got $6mill and Marquez got $5mill. That's all I can go by. If you have proof that he earned more, then show it.
Or maybe you don't understand how Arum works.
Who knows.

I repeat...if you think Pacquiao got 6 mill for the Marquez fight then you don't understand how the sport works.

The same reports from NSAC show that Mayweather got his whole $25million for the Ortiz fight.
Showed Pacquiao got $6Mill from the Marquez fight.
It also showed that out of the 350k Morales was guaranteed, he actually got $80k.
There was official reports posted here a while ago which showed all of this.

That's what's reported to the NSAC. If you really think Pac has not been guaranteed over 20 million you don't know how the sport works.

Well these things need to be reported. It's not nice seeing a fighter put their sacrifice their health only for their greedy promoter to take the lion share of what they're earning.
Looking at the figures Pacquiao has brought in of late, he should have earned at least 15 million in his fights post De La Hoya.
