Bit rich Morales criticising the WBC and Canelo now, after accepting a gift WBC belt against an unworthy opponent and then gloating about being the first Mexican 4 division champ. I think that's called hypocrisy. Atleast with Canelo it was Golden Boy who pushed the belt on him. Morales went chasing that fake belt to get a cheap one up on Marquez and Barrera Morales was also desperate for the WBA to put up their fake WBA interim belt against Maidana and claimed he was going to be a 4 division champ winning that. Angulo did punch himslef out against Kirkland but thats not to say the same thing wouldnt happen in a rematch. If Angulo drops James again he can either try to take him out and punch himself out in the process or stand off and let Kirkland recover. Either way Kirkalnd gets back into the fight and the problem for Angulo is his style is made for James. You need a good defense vs Kirkland but if you lead with the face and let him land every shots he throws the result will be teh same 9 time sout of 10. Basically Morales said that Canelo is not progressing under the current coach, and that except a few fighters nowadays, most Mexican boxers lack fundamentals, like how to walk on the ring. Who's is Canelo's trainer and what is his experience? Canelo is a hype job that will be milked like Chavez Jr. He's only 20, but I don't see much upside. Mexicans have other great young boxers to look forward to like Miguel Vazquez or Jose Benavidez.
