YOU MIGHT BE A serious ALI FAN IF... u know who Candy Slim Merrit is and what his connection to Ali is... you know the dates of The Fight, The Rumble In The Jungle and The Drama In The Bahamas without googling them.... you know all 4 wives names... you know at least 5 of the kids names, including both boys.. you instantly know what the twins names are... you know his parents and his brother's name (including his brother's middle name)... you know his mother's maiden name... you know what his father did for a living... you know who Ronnie O' Keefe and Gene Kilroy are...

I could answer almost all of these off the top of my head, but I will let some others have a go at it, I do thank you for bringing up Jeff Candy Slim Merritt though, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time, and a name that a lot of people probably don't know unless you're atleast 40 years old. Did u ever read Ali's recollection of their late 60's sparring session???

you know the reason for that is most of the members are too young to really have watched Ail when he was fighting. i have noticed in all of the posts about Ail have very few hits or replys. i missed the watching Ail also but not because of my age, i am 42, but i was in a place where you just heard the name but had no access to anything else and please excuse me for mis-spelling the mans name
