But yes Floyd, Manny will still get his double figure guaranteed purses fighting boxers not named Floyd Mayweather Jr. Floyd, Manny made more money than you after both of you fought Oscar de la Hoya. Manny fought six times since forcing de la Hoya to quit in his stool while you barely eked out a split decision and only fought four times since. He already made his million dollar purses even before he fought Golden Boy. You do not have to dangle your wad of bills to him because unlike you, Manny does not burn his Benjamins in public (and in private). Don’t make any more excuses. You can even offer Manny a 60-40 split to the winner and I am confident Manny will ask you where the contract is already. Offer Manny a split in the fight purse and you will have your May 5 blockbuster duel with him. But please cut that crap about you deserving the bigger slice of the pie. You are going to prison comes June 1. You will turn 35 next month. Time is not on your side. Make the fight in May and beat Manny by whatever outcome. Give him a rematch and then you can dictate the terms. But not now. Manny is you co-equal as far as ringing the cash register is concerend. You may consider yourself first among equals.
