This interview is similar to the one Clottey gave right after the Pac fight in his home country that conveniently was never questioned or talked about by the American media. Clottey was told it was 'business' by Arum as well and then went on to say: "If I throw the hands like I do I would have killed him (Pac) so I didn't. i just didn't see it as being a landslide victory for marquez or for pac. both guys i felt had their moments in the fight. marquez caught pac with some good counters, pac caught marquez with some good right hooks, marquez made pac miss, but also pac blocked some of marquez's punches with his gloves and occassionaly made him miss as well. there were just a bunch of back and forth rounds and other rounds that were very hard to score and that could go either way. I didn't see much of Pacquiao having his moments, I saw a failed attempt at a cherry pick and Pacquiao, being generous here...winning at most 4 rounds, 3 on my card.

How can you see it as a close fight when Marquez looked better in the 3rd fight than he did in the firt and second? He was not even knocked down, won more rounds and had Pacquiao missing most of his punches with sidesteps? It's taken Manny three fights (and possibly a fourth) to 'prove' he won all the fights vs JMM. Hilarious. I guess Manny may first have to 'prove' he won the fight he already won against Cotto first. The rounds were close, but Marquez won more rounds, so IMO it wasn't a close fight when you end up with a card like mine which was 8-3-1 For every 1 video you can find on YouTube proclaiming Pacquiao won the fight, I'll find you 15 saying Marquez was robbed. well i saw it as being a close fight like their first two fights. other people can see it differently I don't have a problem with that.
