Cotto might ask for 20Mills Guarantee for a PAc Fight at 147

Okay, I'm gonna' be frank for a second here. Miguel, based on his thorough ass-kicking at the hands of Pacquiao, shouldn't be mentioned in the likes of Pacquiao as a potential opponent. After all, he was one of many opponents on the thrashing end of Pacquiao's incredible hot streak from mid 2008 to late 2010. However, you COULD (COULD) make the argument he had the "best" performance among those who failed (between Diaz, DLH, Hatton, Clottey, Margarito). Yes, he got his ass kicked from pillar to post but he whenever he boxed, he would have success against Pacquiao. These are facts what I'm about to state, not opinions: Cotto won the first round on all judges' scorecards. Cotto fought so well after the knockdown during the third round, that TWO judges gave that round to Pacquiao 10-9 (impressive considering Pacquiao scored a knockdown) Cotto won the 10th round on TWO of the judges' scorecards (consider that this was VERY late in the fight and by then Cotto's wife had left because of the beating he was taking in 8th and 9th rounds.) He somehow managed to box Pacquiao successfully despite how badly, badly he was beaten up by then. I don't know where all this Cotto-Pacquiao II talk is coming from, but if it happens, it needs to happen at 154. I've been saying it since before it started to catch on; COTTO CANNOT GO TO 147. When he was fighting Mayorga, people were saying: "Cotto needs to move back down." He can't. I'm positive he was having some difficulties getting down to 147, tht 145 catchweight was the final straw. He said, "Nah...I'm goin' to 154." To ask him to go down to 147 after fighting at 154 for TWO years is bull. If he were a gym rat, that'd be ok but Cotto isn't. He likes to knock back a few drinks and balloon in weight sort of like Hatton (though not as much). If Cotto is ABLE to make 147, he will be a DEAD MAN walking.

People really want to see this fight? Joking right? I don't want this fight at any weight. Why? Because we already seen what happened. Even if this fight was at 150, all people would be saying is he's taking another easy fight. Now, everyone is clamoring for a fight at 150? LMAO. It's either Mayweather or bust

well I am a pacfan, Manny already fought margarito at 150, if he can not fight cotto at 154 just do not make the fight... The problem is Manny obviously WANTS Cotto but he will only fight him at 147. Its sad and pathetic truly, how this warrior has turned into a bigger vagina than Mayweather is beyond my comprehension. You already beat the guy even though he had looked average since his loss to Margarito, Pac still had to get those extra two pounds. I am not taking away anything from his win, and its a weight that they both agreed upon, but now it makes Manny look like he knows he CAN lose to Cotto. If he's going to get drained down and beat silly...the least he could do is get paid a handsome purse for his troubles. It's really a shame how theses guys at Top Rank are just having a circle jerk with these fighters. Margarito, Cotto, and Pacquiao bouncing fights between one another. They're limiting themselves big time. They have a small pool of fights to choose from and when they're done fighting each other twice or 3 times, they just fade off until their money runs out.

Yesssss...hope this is true. Would love to see a Canelo Cotto showdown. Plus it keeps the BS rematch out of the picture for Pac and almost at this point FORCES him to take something worth watching. Same goes for Floyd.

Cotto doesn't stick to any demand, he asked for 150 for Margarito and got 153. He asked for 147 or no fight for Pacquiao and got bent over for 145. He doesn't stick to his demands. People getting all excited when Cotto can't even get bum ass Margarito who had no right in negotiating anything, to get down to 150. All of a sudden he's gonna get Pacquiao the diva to let him get 20Mill and give up some of his purse. Keep dreaming. Cotto will cave in to way less than 20mill if this fight happens. And he's not getting no 15mill with Chavez. And his Foreman win is his best win at 154 and a win I give him credit for.

20 Million is too much.. I dont think he made 10 Million in his last fight so I dont get the demand for a 20 Mil paycheck.. Plus only Pac and Floyd can command a 20 Million paycheck, and no one else...If he asked for 10-15 Million would probably be a reasonable request.. Though I really hate this fight.. Damn Pac.. Manny is letting us know that he won't beat Miguel Cotto at his weight. First, at 147 made him go down to 145 and beat the **** out of Miguel. He's still the same Miguel and wants him to go dow from 154 to 147. Manny is letting us know that he's afraid of Miguel Cotto if he's not weight-drained. That's very clear!

Hopefully Cotto sticks to this demand. Hopefully that puts more incentive on Pacquiao to fight Mayweather. Then Cotto can battle Canelo.

If Manny doesn't want Cotto at 150 then there is no point to a rematch, Manny is officially losing me as a fan each day. What was wrong with fighting foreman? That was a good fight for him. He was coming off a bad loss, and fought foreman for his title.
